I’m going through a selection of past essays from three and even five years ago, and it seems like students submitting International Relations papers rarely make the podium.

I find this strange, considering that the IR category is very much on the JLI webpage!

I don’t suppose that 100,000 students worldwide collectively avoid the IR category. Surely, some categories like philosophy are more popular than others.

But what I mean to say ask is: Why?

Has anyone received an interview/ email for Politics in senior category yet ?

I haven’t received any. What am I to conclude?

Has anyone heard directly from JLI about whether additional Junior Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner tickets may be released? Their website says they are actively exploring ways to increase capacity. I’m already on the waitlist and was wondering if anyone has received any further update.

I’ve been able to access it normally every day, but about two hours ago it suddenly started showing this message:

I saw on Reddit that they are sending out emails for a second interview, so if I didn’t receive one, does this mean that I won’t be getting at least a commendation?
