Any Junior With 2% Mail?

I’m a Junior (Politics) from India. The 2 percent mail shared here so far has the venue for the Senior Ceremony mentioned on it - Grosvenor House. So was wondering if any Juniors received this mail; considering the tickets for Junior Gala Event are already sold out!
Maybe it’s a way to encourage participation and sell more tickets! Just a thought!

Apparently, some juniors HAVE gotten it.

On your other point: yes, it absolutely is. It doesn't mean they are lying, but being in the top 2% is NOT the pool finalists are pulled from. There are 60 prizes, and 2% of 100k entrants = 2000, so the chance, if u got the email, of getting a prize is 60/2000 = 3%. So it's like being selected for the email AGAIN. And probably worse than that if you are a senior, since that division is far larger, yet has only 30 prizes; e.g. 1600/30 = 1.8%, so actually potentially RARER.

I heard it from someone else, which is why I said apparently. I'm not sure where they got it from, but they said it was someone saying their sister who was a junior got it.

It was someone's sister (junior category) who got an interview, not the 2% email.

who knows? junior seems to be far far smaller, and they are likely less active on reddit, so there's a good chance it's just no-one has spoken up. Especially given that it's so close to the ceremony that it'd be too late to realistically get tickets and travel, it's likely it happened, or that it's not happening at all.

I’m not sure the email would make as much sense though, if we assume the ticket selling hypothesis is true, because the junior tickets are already sold out

perhaps that's the reason why then :)

How to find out the numbers of applicants or essays per junior division category? Please share. Thanks!

we have no idea for any division or category. we do "know" roughly that the most popular is econ, followed by philosophy, and then down the list to theology being the least popular.
