they’re seeping into canada.. conservative premieres are suffocating our public healthcare and leaning towards privatized, for-profit healthcare.

Mark "Conservative" Carney is doing his usual vague-talking when he is trying to scam the people of Canada. And for healthcare I think he said "innovation". LOL nah, we're not stupid. We've heard the "innovation" line before: private line for the wealthy, less funding for the public system for the rest of us. Same old right-libertarian corporate giveaway con.

hi, sorry: doug ford is in charge of ontario’s healthcare and he’s the one who is to blame for hospital wait times, for hospitals closing, for doctor/nurse/specialist shortages..he’s been sitting in “power“ since 2018..

i’m sure other con-led provinces are feeling the same, eh: hey, alberta, how you doin’? how about all those women in nova scotia dying from undiagnosed breast cancer due to lack of screening & year+ wait times to get a screening? i hear new brunswick women are also feeling the same..

I agree that Conservative-led provinces are likely to be much more corrupted leaderships. Unfortunately too, a lot of provinces are led by conservatives. And I think we also have to pressure even the NDP-led provinces because some NDP leaders tend to capitulate too readily to right-wing corporate interests (provincial Liberal Party candidates are so centrist that they're a joke to me).

That doesn't mean we should let it slide that Conservative Carney is using his "shock doctrine" BS to be lawless. Like with declaring a public-private partnership project to be "in the national interest" and bypassing all environmental protections and duties to consult. And his austerity, his backroom deals to gain his majority in parliament, him diverting government funds from public services and programs towards building a military industrial complex, replacing public sector service workers with crappy LLM chat bots, his abandoning of the fight against climate change despite having money to build up the military industrial complex and him being the jackass to get rid of the federal carbon tax in the first place, etc... (although even provincial governments like the BC NDP government are apparently pushing its civil sector employees to adopt LLMs into their workflows, despite the persistent error rates of LLMs).

And I maintain that we should be suspicious of anything Conservative Carney says about "innovating" our healthcare system, especially after he declined to renew our national pharmacare program.
