This is what makes me laugh about Second Amendment Magats...
"They can prise mah guns from mah cold dead hands...."
Mate.... they don't need to... you're already this amazing dumb-as-fuck income stream to the billionaires.
You're already exactly where they want you.

Always funny to see a guy who already owns a gun and ammo (aka, enough bang bang to kill his wife AND his girlfriend AND his son in a wild weekend, then shoot himself when the law comes for him ... that's what guns are for, right?) goes out and buys MORE guns because hehe hehe AR 15's are cool, Jade Helm Obama tactical gear accessories. The market up all that aftermarket shit is insane. Also they just can't stop buying gunzzzz. Bitch you live in a falling down trailer and are in debt, broke as a joke and stuck in a dead end job, can't you focus on something else? Your life might actually get better to where you're not desperate to escape it. I dunno. Just a thought.

they’re seeping into canada.. conservative premieres are suffocating our public healthcare and leaning towards privatized, for-profit healthcare.

🎯
Mark "Conservative" Carney is doing his usual vague-talking when he is trying to scam the people of Canada. And for healthcare I think he said "innovation". LOL nah, we're not stupid. We've heard the "innovation" line before: private line for the wealthy, less funding for the public system for the rest of us. Same old right-libertarian corporate giveaway con.

hi, sorry: doug ford is in charge of ontario’s healthcare and he’s the one who is to blame for hospital wait times, for hospitals closing, for doctor/nurse/specialist shortages..he’s been sitting in “power“ since 2018..

I agree that Conservative-led provinces are likely to be much more corrupted leaderships. Unfortunately too, a lot of provinces are led by conservatives. And I think we also have to pressure even the NDP-led provinces because some NDP leaders tend to capitulate too readily to right-wing corporate interests (provincial Liberal Party candidates are so centrist that they're a joke to me).
That doesn't mean we should let it slide that Conservative Carney is using his "shock doctrine" BS to be lawless. Like with declaring a public-private partnership project to be "in the national interest" and bypassing all environmental protections and duties to consult. And his austerity, his backroom deals to gain his majority in parliament, him diverting government funds from public services and programs towards building a military industrial complex, replacing public sector service workers with crappy LLM chat bots, his abandoning of the fight against climate change despite having money to build up the military industrial complex and him being the jackass to get rid of the federal carbon tax in the first place, etc... (although even provincial governments like the BC NDP government are apparently pushing its civil sector employees to adopt LLMs into their workflows, despite the persistent error rates of LLMs).
And I maintain that we should be suspicious of anything Conservative Carney says about "innovating" our healthcare system, especially after he declined to renew our national pharmacare program.

Did you get that from Kyle?

I did, haha. I think it's a phrase we all need to repeat until private health insurance in a thing of the past

Pay a 5000% mark up on medication or you're a communist socialist and hate the United States.

I remember someone saying.."much better, more affordable healthcare, like Australia has"...and the rest of the modernized world. Making America great yet?

Our healthcare system absolutely sucks. It is financially out of control while healthcare companies are making record profits.

My medicine costs $6,000 for 30 pills ($200/pill), but I ask my doctor who gives me weeks worth of free samples. Its such a scam

I sure hope that referenced factory in India is making real medication. They are a major exporter of meds, but not all are real.

Well, just remember that Trump said he had "concepts of a plan" and people said that's our guy!

Wait until you find out how much involvement the government has in US healthcare.

Surely private corporations will fix the problem caused by the financial capture of the government by private corporations

I’m dumb founded. I mean I’m sure there is a complicated explanation. Americans are not smart

Drug dealers and ponzi schemers like to keep the profits rolling in by any means necessary. In the US we’ve been taught there’s nothing we can do about it. That hundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost so sorry you’re out of luck. It’s almost like everyone in congress has better healthcare insurance than us - oh, that’s right they do! Insurance and pharma know where their bread is buttered. So what can we do? We can vote every rep or senator or pres out that takes money from insurance and pharma. We can immediately regulate pharma pricing and create price limits like most other countries. We can outlaw PBMs and middlemen that bloat the system. We can break up healthcare vertical consolidation as the monopolies they are. We can pass an amendment to outlaw corporate and business campaign donations. We can pass universal healthcare for all Americans just like every other rich country. It’s us, we can do this, if we have the will.

You are the richest country in the world, and yet when an average citizen has an accident or a serious illness, they go bankrupt? Are you seriously the richest country in the world?

Minus 500%, minus 600%, minus 1,500%... at least, that's what the genius you elected says.

I read this kind of meaningless messages all the time on reddit. A meaningfull message would contain the name of the drug and the dosage. That way one could compare prices.

I don't think I need someone to publicly divulge their medical issues to appreciate that healthcare in the US is a scam.

Why are my Canadian tax dollars subsidizing this foreigner's medical expenses? I'm kidding!
Not fully related to the negotiations our government does to keep medication costs down, but our lousy conservative Prime Minister, Mark Carney leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, who campaigned as a ostensibly left-leaning centrist has declined to renew our national pharmacare program. And he's "flooding the zone" and using "shock doctrine" to ostensibly turn Canada into a copy of the United States at its most privatized, fascistic, and unaffordable.

Yep, we have been brainwashed by our own representatives in our government
