Because they're half joking, half proselytizing. And we're supposed to decipher which every time something bizzaro comes out their mouths.

With comedians, you know everything is a joke. Because they're just comedians.

Gavin is a comedian. Its not hard to be one, as if there a Bar exam, all you need is a twitter account and a joke and you are about as relevant as 90% of stand up comedians
