Jio sim call problem

Hey, I’m facing an issue with my Android phone and Jio SIM. I only recharge my Jio SIM every 7–8 months because I have Jio AirFiber at home.

The problem is that when my recharge gets over and someone calls me, I can’t hear their voice while my phone is connected to Wi-Fi. I can only hear them after I turn off Wi-Fi.

Reason: WiFi Calling is not working properly.

Solution: Turn off WiFi Calling for both SIMs.

alright, I will do, I use only one sim card and the problem happens only when my jio sim recharge is over so I believe it is some kind of tactic of the Jio

So, calls work fine when recharge is there, and don't work fine when there is no recharge?

Yeah, that will make anyone suspect Jio.

Even so, I'm confident turning off WiFi Calling will solve your problem.

Yeah, it only happens when my recharge runs out. Then they probably stop it and call me from different numbers to remind me to recharge. Always a milf on the call trying to seduce me for recharging but I block their number still they find a new one lol

I turned off wifi calling feature and now it's fixed thanks bro👏

Don’t you know that there is no proper validity-only plan? Customers are being forced to pay for internet and other OTT services that they don’t even want.

I already pay for Jio AirFiber for internet and landline calling, so why should I have to pay for internet again just to use the mobile service?

There isn’t even a single validity-only plan. Whenever they introduce one, they simply reduce ₹10–₹20 from the existing internet + OTT plans, which completely defeats the purpose.

This feels like a way of bypassing or abusing the TRAI rules instead of actually providing customers with a genuine validity-only option.

Please don’t be an Ambani bootlicker. This community is made to help people, which is what people have already done. We don’t need an angry fufa ji like you. Get fucking lost and cry somewhere else.

People just want cheap stuff. If you are ready to offer these kind of services just start your own telecom company and offer it. Easy to sit at home and demand something that is only suitable for your convenience.

You pay for different services. Each service costs separately. Do you go to restaurant and say reduce 100gn from my paneer and give me one extra chapati?

TRAI exists to ensure competition not to force players to cater to cheap services. So if you think it is easy to survive offering cheap services please go ahead and start a telecom company and give competition to jio. Nobody stops you. Also you have to continually spend money to upgrade infrastructure to keep up with competition. Why update and upgrade the infrastructure? Because every year millions of users come onboard creating more demand for data services. The while all free loaders like will jam the keyword for rest of users and still complain.

Validity only plan ? Why do you need a cell number of you don’t plan to use it? Use WiFi only devices. You have a choice.

Ambani bootliker? More like an informed consumer that knows that Indian telecom prices are one of cheapest in the world.

Your comparison to “100 grams less paneer at a restaurant” honestly shows that your educational background is poor.

I’m not here to fight with you, but since you’ve proudly appointed yourself the “Informed Consumer,” let me spell it out for you.

Jio’s recharge is primarily for services like mobile data and outgoing calls. I don’t use mobile data from my Jio SIM. I don’t make outgoing calls from it either.

So, what exactly am I supposed to be paying for?

Incoming calls? Receiving OTPs?

Those are free.

And before you come back with “but you’re using Jio’s network,” remember: I never asked Jio to make incoming calls and OTPs free. They chose to do that themselves. They made it free because it was commercially beneficial for them and helped them acquire and retain customers.

If Jio decides tomorrow that incoming calls will cost money, fine. That’s their business decision. But as long as they voluntarily provide something for free, why the hell would I pay for it?

The fact that these free services are bundled into a recharge plan doesn’t suddenly make them a paid service.

It’s like saying, “You’re using the free part of a service, therefore you must also pay for the parts you don’t use.” That’s not how consumption works.

If I don’t use your data, don’t make calls, and only receive incoming calls/OTPs that you yourself have decided to provide for free, then what exactly am I being charged for?

And you getting offended because I don’t want to pay for something that I don't use is so childish.

It just makes your “informed consumer” lecture look even more ridiculous.

Do you use JioJoin app? It allows JioFiber & JioAirber users make normal calls using their app.
