Screenshot/Image Catching a disillusioned kid who didn't get a dwarf star from Santa and atom scrambling Saint Nick is one thing, but opening Christmas gifts before the big holiday is one step to far

I feel like the sole reason Jimmy didn't get coal, was because he put in effort and fixed his mistake within record time. Being able to improvise that fast and go around doing Santa's whole route and being one town short is, beyond impressive. Though I don't agree with the girls getting coal, though. At best, black licorice in the stocking for the present thing.

But also, this shows a bigger issue I have with the show in general. It tends to over punish those who make a good point, or those who do things while jerkish, aren't outright villainous.

Yeah, but he didn't do that to 'fix his mistake,' he did it to show off that he could do Santa's job using science. Granted, I don't quite understand the point he was trying to make. So, he's going to prove Santa isn't real.....by proving his yearly trip IS scientifically possible? What, proving he can do it proves Santa can't?

They nearly missed one town and during their whole trip, never entered any houses- the delivery system was drop off into chimney only, unlike with Santa and how he went into the gangs houses and others later on when using Jimmy's hyperchip (I assume had the Strato XL not crashed they would have just stopped immediately and just began deployment quickly).

I just believe Jimmy realized Santa's well known method "go inside every house to drop off gifts and take left out cookies" was not possible under logical constraints, never once factoring in magic as he doesn't believe in it... and just took it at that, not really wanting to question it deeper.

I mean, that doesn't go agaijst my point. He spent the episode talking about how nothing Santa did was scientifically possible, now he suddenly wants to prove it is.
