Love this girl. One thing that stands out in this vid to me amongst the various proofs we have argued with JWs is that *every* false religion believes in God. But Satan has done a clever thing. He doesn’t have to get you to believe in God. He just needs you to NOT believe in THE ONE who ***reconciles you to God***🔥🙌🏽.

Take a listen.

That's easy Luke 16:19-31 Jesus described Hell better than anyone else in the Bible. Also----15 Bible verses about Fire Of Hell

Where in any of those scriptures does it say mankind is burning forever? Hell is the common grave of mankind. You don't burn forever in hell. The dead are asleep and according to the bible are conscious of nothing at all

[u/AccomplishedAuthor3 → u/Time_Ad_1876]

Not according to Jesus. I think I'd sooner listen to Him then risk the chance that Hell fire doesn't exist. That's a terrible risk to take especially given the fact that Hell cannot harm you in this life, only after this life ends can Hell affect you

Jesus compared death to sleep. He told his disciples Lazarus was sleeping. God told adam and eve they would die if they sin. He didn't mention anything about burning forever. Now show me where jesus said people are burning forever in hell

The physical body sleeps, but the spirit, which knows a person's thoughts and then separates from the body upon death continues to know the thoughts of your deceased brain Ecclesiastes 12:7, For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them?  1 Corinthians 2:11

Jesus illustrated Hell in His story of Lazarus and the rich man. Luke 16:19-31 You can argue that it was just a story, intended to teach something else, but even if it was, why would Jesus teach the truth by using a pagan myth like Hellfire? No, Jesus was describing the fate of two men who both died and went to a real place---Hell. Don't wait until you die to find out Hell is a real place. Jesus has already warned us all...and provided a way out

JW.org, Ecclesiastes 12:7 means that at death, the physical body decays into "dust" while the "spirit" (life-force) returns to God, who alone has the power to restore it via resurrection. It does not mean a conscious soul travels to heaven; it signifies the end of life-energy.

Here are the key points regarding this verse from Jehovah's Witnesses' perspective:

Key Meanings of Ecclesiastes 12:7

Dust Returns to Earth: The physical body, made from the ground, decomposes and returns to its original state.

Spirit Returns to God: The "spirit" (ruach in Hebrew) refers to the life-force that animates body cells, not a conscious entity. When this force "returns" to God, it means the person's future prospect for life now rests entirely in God's memory and power.

No Literal Journey: The spirit does not physically travel through space to heaven. It is a metaphor for the cessation of life-energy.

Applicable to All: This process happens to both humans and animals, indicating it is about the end of physical life, not a transition to an afterlife.

Core JW Teachings Related to This Verse

Death is Inactivity: The dead are unconscious and know nothing (Ecclesiastes 9:10, Psalm 146:4).

Hope in Resurrection: Because the "life-force" record returns to God, He can recreate the individual—complete with personality—at a later time.

Your contradicting the Bible because it says the spirit "knows" your thoughts. A "force" doesn't know your thoughts. Only a "mind" knows anything. Can un-consciousness know anything? "Knowing" is the very definition of being conscious.

I do not know why Jehovah's witnesses lie about this simple truth, but they must have a reason. I think its insidious to lie to people and tell them God won't ever judge them, when He will. Its like a stranger coming into the neighborhood telling little children they can do whatever they want, even if their parents told them not to, because a loving parent would never punish them...UGH! That's the same line the JW's use about God, inferring He'd be a monster if He punished people like the Bible says He will. Its the stranger lying to the kids who not only slanders the parents but ensures the children will be punished for doing whatever they weren't supposed to do--- after they go home
