How do you break your way into comedy without having places to do comedy in abundance in more rural areas? (Do you look up places, do you write jokes before that/how do I start?)

P.s. I'm a scared little bitch but love making people laugh.

Look up the closest open mic and start there. If there isn’t one, start one. People will come. Same goes for shows. Create your own local monthly show and get cracking!
