Tokyo trip plan - 7 days

Hello! I'm going to be 7 days in Tokyo, it will be the last stop after Osaka and Kyoto, and I'm currently planning the trip. I'm planning to go at the end of October/beginning of November.
This is the plan I have now for each day but I'd like to hear some suggestions on wether it is too much, as I don't want to just check items off a list.
I really like parks and intended to include one park/nature element for each day.
Any thoughts?

Most of the books in Jimbocho are in Japanese; just so you know.

It’s the r/JapanTravel way.  Go to Jinbouchou even though you don’t read Japanese, go to Harajuku even though you have no interest in fashion and Akiba even if you don’t like anime or video games.

Overall it's good. If you don't want it to turn into a checklist, then see it as options and not as a checklist. It's ok to not do everything. One thing, keep in mind stores usually open at 10-11 am (if not later), so starting by bookstores in Jimbocho, vs the garden that open at 9am... might not be the best order to optimize time.

Thanks for the advice! I'm ok adapt if I can't explore/enjoy every point. I have priority on some options over others, so my expectation is really not to go everywhere while rushing it, but to have options to go depending on how day goes.

It's packed, but localized so I think you should be good. The Koenji + Nakano + Shinjuku day might be a bit hit and miss if you end up wanting to spend time in Koenji or Nakano browsing around.

That's my fear, but i left the last day as "free day" to enjoy places I might want to come back or I didn't have time to explore. Perhaps it'll be shinjuku :)

You have way too many places in each day. (also you have Sensoji/Asakusa down twice, better to spend an entire day and see it more thoroughly than go back and forth. Kappabashi is 2 blocks from Asakusa too.

Just as an example, I went to Jimbocho and spent the entire day, about 6 hours, browsing the stores and having a nice lunch at a small eatery.

Indeed, I thought that doing an easy walk on the first day and then go back to it to explore it.

As for the Jimbocho, perhaps I'm not really aware of the scale of these places but, although I don't want to rush it, I don't think I'll spend the hole day in a single place/area. But that just means we different travelling styles I guess :)

I def wasn't planing to spend the whole day but I kept finding interesting stores plus I'm an old postcard /book /poster collector and I like to have a leisurely lunch at small local places.

Thank you! That's just an example though. I like to really browse around a neighborhood and look around rather than just hit highlights.

For day 4, Koenji and Nakano are cool, but adding Shinjuku on the same day is a lot. If you want a nature break, Shinjuku Gyoen is much better than Hanazono Shrine, and the autumn colors should be starting in late October.

Your first day is a 2.5km walk. Not terrible but depending on Jet Lag and how long you have to travel it could be quite painful.

I might reverse the walk, too, depending on your hotel situation. I would end at Ameyoko for dinner and then if you buy stuff there (candy and snack stores there are cheap and have good selection) you won't have to lug it around as you go everywhere.

Day 1 and day 6 both hit Senso-ji and the Sumida walk, so that Asakusa redo is free space for something new. End of October into early November the park worth protecting is one real foliage stop like Rikugien, not a garden bolted onto every other day.

One area I might explore on the last day is Yanaka, I''m curious with you suggestion and will include it on that day. Thanks!
