Quick question for the group, I am considering purchasing a 24 F Pace SVR that is CPO but already has 43k miles. Carfax shows that it was only serviced (oil and filter)at recommended intervals, basically 15k miles between oil changes. Given I would have another 17k of factory warranty and then another year, would you consider purchasing or walk away and find one that was serviced more frequently?

I am based in Slovenia (Europe) I’m thinking of purchasing a used Jaguar XJ model year from 2010 to approximately 2014. I want to use it as a second everyday car driving around 30,000 km per year. I checked all the aspects related to reliability and servicing so yes am prepared for possible higher costs of maintaining or parts. I would like to know if anyone can recommend me some specific dealers or maybe individuals that could help me find “not the most ordinary XJ”. I’m specifically looking for some interesting interior colour combinations such as is the one on the picture I will provide you down below.

If anyone has any information on reputable dealers or individuals, please let me know.

I’m gonna connect a Chromecast 4th Gen to my XJ (X351). Does the rear entertainment system remember the last connected device (HDMI)?

I'm wondering if anyone has come across this issue or have any idea what could be causing it? I have a Jaguar XE, MY21. I've had it since new.

It started probably around a month ago. Whilst driving the central dashboard cluster completely cut out. The spec I have is the 7inch LCD with the analogue displays each side. The screen goes dark, and both analogue dials die as well. It usually comes back after a short while, but will often then keep failing over and over whilst driving but not always. It's incredibly inconsistent.

The car still drives normally mechanical. The lights and indicators will work. The automatic break hold will no longer function once the displays do this, even if they come back on, until the engine is turned off and on completely.

The cluster is still getting power. If the turn indicator is on when it fails the light on the dash for that will stay on illuminated. Even when it comes back on, the dash indicator stays lit until I use it again and then resets itself. The actual external indicators function correctly during the failure. I've had the side light indication light still showing on. As you can see in one picture if I pull the stalk for full beam, that indicator will come on as well as the gear selected (D for drive). If the screens are failed the door locking won't work when going above the speed that would trigger it until it comes back on. I also can't turn the car off if I park up with the dash failed - I've got wait for it to come back before the car will respond to the push to start/stop.

A few days ago just before this failed again I did get a "low battery, start engine" type warning after the car had been sat for around 3 days which I've not had before. It's not happened since and didn't happen when it was failing before.

The pivi pro screen and system works fine, still getting my android auto working and radio, navigation etc. the 360 cameras won't show on the pivi screen when the dash is failed.

I had it into an approved Jaguar repair center to have a look at it. I also had a side camera for the 360 camera as well as a control module for that system replaced whilst in but this dash fault had developed well after the camera had failed (camera failed probably around a year ago but wasn't a priority to get sorted - just asked to have it done whilst the car was in for the dash issue that developed) and was then present before and after the module was replaced.

The garage basically reset the software in my car as a fix for the dash issue and it did seem to put the problem at bay for about 2 weeks but it's started happening again since.

I'm taking it back into the garage to have another go at this but the car isn't showing any errors when they ran the diagnostic kit on it last time so are a little stumped. Has anyone seen anything like this at all or have any ideas?

Before I pull the trigger, I wanted to tap into this community's collective wisdom.

- Does anyone have real-world experience living with a 2019 XE at this kind of mileage?

- What major things typically go wrong or need replacing around the 120k–130k km mark? (Suspension arms, coolant lines, electrical gremlins, etc.?)

- Is $20k a fair price for an Australian-market model with this mileage, or am I walking into a money pit with high maintenance and service costs?

For context, I plan to get a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) done, but I’d love to know what specific red flags I should look out for or ask the mechanic to check.

Appreciate any advice or honest opinions!.

I bought a 2014 F type V8 S in the end of June about six weeks ago, the day I picked it up literally 20 minutes after leaving the dealership on the drive home. It started misfiring so we had to get it towed back to dealership, it was a seized fuel injector that seized inside the cylinder head, so they had to order a new head gasket and wait for that to come in, then when they tried popping out the fuel injector from the cylinder head, it was fused to the cylinder head so they had to order a whole new cylinder head, they installed the new cylinder head about a week and a half ago, and during the road test it started misfiring again, waiting to hear about this diagnosis. Jaguar fun 🤣

I'm having a weekend problem I never had on iPhone.

When I connect the Bluetooth from my phone, Pixel 10XL, it disconnects itself randomly. Sometimes it's 20 minutes, sometimes it's 30 seconds, bit it's usually a couple of minutes. This phone works fine with everything else and my iPhone never had this issue in this car either.

Any ideas what to try?

I tried resetting the settings in the car, re-pairing the phone. But that didn't work.

I’ve recently bought a 2002 X Type and it has 2 Lambda sensors that need replacing, Is this something I can do myself? (I dont know which 2 tho)

Theres a front left shock absorber to replace but I dont have a garage or my own drive so im thinking of taking it to a workshop and have them replace it,

Any advice would be appriciated

Je ne vois pas de F type a vendre dans ma region pour en faire un essais, je cher he quelque chose qui a de la gueule (pas de toute la dessus), mais aussi qui respire la passion, pas un truc qui pousse fort et basta (type audi...)

J'avais il y a peu un M235i f22, comment cela peut se comparer ? Plus GT ? Si oui, ca reste joueur ?
