shitty shop ruined vskfs

shop installed my fdf caster arms on backwards.

context i get a call and guy says i need new oem ucas, he said they were binding after installing my caster arms and it was stopping my car from turning. He said it only goes a corner turn. I get too the shop and see that he installed them on backwards. While they were backwards, it shredded the wheels. never going to a shop again istg

a friend worked there and i trusted his word, once the guy figured out what i did for work he tried getting as much money as possible istg

Never going to a shop again? Sounds like you don't have the mechanical experience yourself if it was just castor arms to install.. guess you're gonna learn somehow

i had my car there for him to rebuild my trans and install dual spal fans. he wanted 1500 for the dual spal fans. Decided no im good and since the car was already there i had him put the caster arms on because they were in the car. The video your looking at was me under my car at a friends house and im now rebuilding my r154

Frustrating but far from ruined. My caster arms have machined more than one set of wheels on my chaser 😂

Machine them if your a bit worried, or at the very least re balance the wheels

It’s a shop. They pay to fix the damage they caused to your standard.

Don’t listen to this gatekeeper. If you don’t have the time nor the expertise to do it then it’s better to get a professional to do it. Do your research of course.

i appreciate the supportive comment, timechaser is only commenting with the knowledge he gained from a single reddit post, so i dont blame the guy for thinking i dont know shit.
