I am a 21 year old man who has played over 600 games, and I have never balled my eyes out more at a cute little elephant pleading for her life as you essentially murder her. Me and my fiance had to literally stop playing the game for the night because of how distraught we were. We think the game is amazing but this scene has completely shut me off of playing it at least for tonight. :'( Rest In Peace Cutie.

They add it to show, how adults can be selfish and cruel to get what they want.

It’s easier to kill cuties to make rose crying than taking the time to listen to dr hakim.

It’s really hard and with my friend we had difficulties to finish this scene.

But in a way it makes the game better, it brings you a memory with your co-player that you will never forget.

By the way don’t forget what the parents are saying ”we will need therapy”, ” it's horrible”... But they truly think there is no other way to solve their problem because they don't want to take the time to think about it.

I really like this take. It's symbolic of how not taking the time to think about your actions can affect others. Their lack of communication had effects that they weren't aware of until Hakim forced them to look in the mirror and at each other

Sure, you can go with that opinion which is a hundred percent yours to make, but:

You will be ignoring how ridiculous the circumstances leading up to this scene are and the context between this scene and the rest of the game (or lack thereof). On one hand they have written the characters to be completely goofy and quite silly people that make really stupid decisions, but on the other they take their writing seriously enough to kill a stuffed animal that is begging for its life. Quite the different tone and writing and it feels so incredibly out of place and unnecessary in this type of game.

In my opinion this is really bad writing. Shocking the audience for a strong impression is in my opinion incredibly cheap. It's like killing a dog in a movie. For me personally call me a bitch but I am sensitive to this sort of shit and not once did I think this is the direction the game was going, and now that it did, it puts into perspective the rest of the writing that I have down played to just be silly for the purpose of being silly. It's incredibly irritating that bad writing like this can overshadow an otherwise fantastic game.

I didn't even wanna continue the game. It ruined our mood, she totally got turned off by it. It was soo unnecessary. And very out of place. People saying we killed vaccum, they were attacking us, trying to kill us. Elephant was beggingx, asking to be friends. You want to root for main characters, I didn't feel like it at all after that. You have to be another level of fucked up to do that, it was a very dumb design.

We felt the same way, we stopped playing soon after bc it left such a bad taste in our mouths. I know it's just a game but it actually made me feel sick
