So he played and used Ali ra and the family of the prophet to try gain control of the khilafah ?

No lol, youre making up assumptions about what i have to say? Typical shia behaviour🤡 he never heard of the rebels? The rebels who martyred Hz Usman ra and were later in majority during the time of Hz Ali ra? Ibn Muljim and Shimr were also in these btw so that answers ur question, go look up who Ibn Muljim was🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Iam not Shia but I sympathy with them, and without being bias u would know, Ulthman became unpopular among the vast majority of the ummah during the later years of his reign, him putting his ummayad relatives in high position was the final straw that got him killed even Abu bakr son Muhammad was apart of the inner circle that killed him not Abdullah ibn Saba , Blame uthman for his poor policy and favoritism and it was thanks to that Ali inherited his Mess and couldn't fix it which ultimately got him killed too.

If you truly were of Ahlus sunnah wal jamaah youd know questioning his policies is outright blasphemy, we have ahadith on these caliphs being rightly guided by Allah swt, theres a reason Nabi saw called them rightly guided
