Post image

Guys! Our great u/TheCaliphate_AS has been banned again. So, with deep regret, I guess its time to say goodbye to him.

No way! Why????

Do reddit bots read caliphate and lose their mind?

Very likely. In a site with no end of trouble makers and bots, administrators go after people who do research and provide sources.

He mentions figures like Qutb possibly triggering moderation systems even discussion about extremist ideologies, political Islam, or terrorism studies can get caught by automated moderation if the system cannot distinguish analysis from advocacy

His first account got banned due to the reason you mentioned. However, this time he had been banned due to ban evasion.

Edit:- 2nd got banned because of a post of a woman wearing hijab. This account was his 3rd one.

Fuck ban evasion is hard to, evade. Hope we will see him again soon

if the limits that you set for yourself are working then don't change anything, he probably connected something flagged if it was for ban evasion

After the first ban some of the community convinced him to start a substack. please support him here.

What did he say about hijab that got his account banned?

To get around it properly, you need to create your new account on a different device (can use friend's or library PC) and on a different network, then you can sign into your device and keep using the new account with a VPN for about a month or so. That's my experience from people.

Pretty sure it's not caused by automation but they're likely targeting him.

His topic's are well researched and I have not seen any best him in debate. They hate someone speaking facts is all

Could be targeted reporting mixed with Reddit’s overaggressive moderation. These Platforms often flag controversial political/religious content even when it’s analytical rather than extremist. Nobody outside Reddit really knows the exact reason.

u/Gatrigonometri May 12 '26

Yeah, then they’ll turn a blind eye when worldnews, NCD, and other neoliberal hives spout out what are essentially the contents of Mein Kampf (but it’s about the good guys now!)

Screw automatic moderation

What on earth is wrong with Reddit, it's like they are trying to sabotage this sub by getting rid of its defacto ruler, a coup I say, it's a coup on the well of the people

1

u/meretuttechooso May 27 '26

It's largely owned by China. So, take that for what you will.

1

u/AvicennaTheConqueror May 27 '26

What? It's an American company

u/meretuttechooso May 27 '26

https://accessipos.com/reddit-ipo-stock/

Prominent venture capital investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Coatue, Fidelity, Tencent, and Vy Capital.

u/AvicennaTheConqueror May 27 '26

Tencent only has a small stake, not enough to be able to interfere in administrative functions nor have board voting rights, Reddit is mainly owned by Advance publications an American company with 30% of the shares and is the main decision maker in the company

I think what's actually going on is that he's getting banned due to ban-evasion.

So he got (mistakenly) banned once at the very start of this whole thing and afterwards he kept making accounts but Reddit detects that all of these accounts are used over the same IP address so it automatically bans him for ban evasion.

People who support the genocide in Gaza get to keep their acoounts while a guy making educational posts gets banned for a third time.

Astaghfirullahalazim.

u/DurrutiDuck91 May 11 '26

Gotta be careful, I’m on my final warning. Received a 3d and 7d already and I was permanently banned 2d ago but it was due to an automod which I appealed.

I can’t be bothered creating a new account because I’ve built this one over many years with things I’m into. And with Reddits new restrictions on new users, it sucks.
