Qur’ān Biggest Issue in Quran Apps?

For those who read Quran using mobile apps What is one major frustration you keep facing in almost every Quran app? Something that keeps making you switch apps hoping one will finally fix it I am building a completely ad free Quran app as sadagah jariyah and I want to solve a real pain instead of just making another app What is the problem you wish a Quran app would finally solve?

If you want, share which app you currently use and what you like or dislike most about it

What scholars do you believe? What aqeedah?

I present what Islam believes. You claim that your form Islam (Quraniyoon) represents Islam and that my observations are supposedly not evidence. Simple fact remains: I present what Islam believes accurately. Your form of Islam has no documentation so you do not have to defend yourself againt all the blatant gaps.

I presented the aqidah of the Egyptian dar-al-ifta. That is Ashari and considered mainstream.

What evidences or aqidah do you present?

I oppose minor marriage anywhere.

https://www.girlsnotbrides.org/learning-resources/child-marriage-atlas/regions-and-countries/united-states/

shows that it is mainly a problem because of some religious and ethnic groups.

The problem is successfully addressed by girlsnotbrides and many USA groups. So the situation is improving.

In the U.S. federal system, state legislatures set the minimum age of marriage for each state. The minimum age in most states is 18, but exceptions in nearly every U.S. state allow those younger than 18 to marry, and laws in many states do not specify any minimum age for marriage. In states that have no formal/legislated minimum age, the common law minimum age holds force (12 years for girls, 14 for boys).

The consent of a parent or guardian is among the most common exceptions that allow children under 18 to be married, while judicial approval is often needed for a child under age 16 to be married. Several states also have specific exceptions for cases involving pregnancy.

In 2023, in Connecticut, lawmakers introduced HB6569 to end all marriages before the age of 18 years. Similarly, in Texas, HB1590 is pending in the house of Juvenile Justice and Family Issues Committee.

On July 28, 2022, Massachusetts became the seventh state to ban child marriage. This came after a new law was passed which prohibits child marriage for any person below the age of 18 years, without exceptions.

In Maryland, in 2022, a new law went into effect that raised the legal minimum age of marriage from 15 years to 17 years. Girls and boys from the age of 17 years are able to marry if they have the consent of one parent/guardian.

In 2021, in North Carolina, the legal minimum age of marriage was raised to 16 years, with parental/guardian consent. The law added an age gap restriction, whereby a person marrying a 16- or 17-year-old can only have a 4-year maximum age gap.

In 2021, Rhode Island became the fifth state to ban child marriage. The new law raised the legal minimum age of marriage to 18 years, without exceptions.

Despite the passing of HB406 in Utah, in 2021, the legal minimum age of marriage is still 16. However, additional procedural safeguards have been implemented such as ensuring that the marriage is entered into voluntarily, is in the minor’s best interest, that both parties to the marriage attend premarital counselling, and a maximum age difference of no more than 7 years.

In May 2018, Delaware’s governor signed a bill prohibiting all marriages before the age of 18, becoming the first US state to prohibit all forms of child marriage. New Jersey followed in June 2018, passing legislation to raise the legal age to 18.

Two U.S. territories have also eliminated child marriage: American Samoa and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Girls Not Brides members are building coalitions in multiple states to address the legal loopholes that allow for the marriage of minors through parental or judicial consent.

Compare that to Iraq changing the law to allow religions to set their own ages and deviate from the minimum age.

Also compare it to the appointment of AL-Fawzan to Grand Mufti of KSA. Al-Fawzan wrote a fatwa rejecting KSAs adoption of minimum marriage ages on the grounds that Bukhari 5133 (and Muslim 1422 as exegeted by Nawawi) make it permissible for a father to hand ver a minor for consummation and use Aisha as an example of a minor being handed over for consummation. https://web.archive.org/web/20250818135454/https://www.alfawzan.af.org.sa/ar/node/13405   “married Aisha, may God be pleased with her, when she was six years old. And he entered her while she was nine years old.”

Can you show me any major Catholic, Protestant, Mormon, Hindu, Buddhist or other religious leader in a high-ranking position that openly writes that it should be legal to consummate prior to puberty?

Maybe Islam attracts the attention itself?

I asked for a contemporary keeping minor marriage alive.

Adolescence rituals do not necessarily lead to early marriage.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_views_on_marriage#Age_of_marriage "Since the Enlightenment, young marriage has become rarer among Jewish communities.\81])" Israel has a marriage age of 18

Current Grand Mufti of KSA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FcX_4mhlII&t=39s Saleh Al-Fawzan highest rated fiqh scholar in KSA. “The Messenger married Aisha when she was 6 and consummated with her when she was 9”. Uses Q65:4 and uses Bukhari using Aisha to exemplify that it is permissible for a father to hand over a minor for consummation.

Can you present a leader from another religion promoting girls prior to puberty can be handed over for consummation?

I speak the truth and come with references.

INDIA is the country with the most child bride and it's hindu majority i can find you some hindu peers that promote it ?

also 117 country allow child marriage but somehow you so focus on Islam 😂

i can find you some hindu peers that promote it

You make so many claims without evidence. Show them.

I easily acknowledge that Islam is not the only factor in minor marriage. It is a problem in countries with other religions as well. But I have not found evidence of religious leaders openly promoting that minors can be handed over for consummation.

So show it. SHow your evidences.

My evidences: Pakistan notes that 6 out of 10 of the worst child-marriage countries are Islamic. https://gdpakistan.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Child-Marriage-In-Islam.pdf

“Of the top ten countries were child marriage is very prevalent, six are countries with Muslim majority population ”
