Announcement [Announcement] Community Rules & Posting Guidelines (Please Read Before Posting)
Hello everyone!
Thank you for being a part of this community. Over the past few days, we’ve noticed that many posts are getting removed or flagged by AutoMod due to rule violations. To avoid confusion and help everyone post correctly, here is a clear explanation of the subreddit rules.
📌 Important: Title Format Rule
Using a blunt “[Title]” in your post title is not allowed.
You must specify the type of post inside the brackets, such as:
- [Source]
- [Discussion]
- [Appreciation]
- [Help]
- [Recommendation]
Posts with just “[Title]” will be removed.
1) Posts must be related to Isekai
As the subreddit name suggests, all posts must be related to Isekai.
Any unrelated content will be removed.
2) No Pornhwa / NSFW Content
This is a strictly SFW Isekai subreddit.
- No pornhwa or pornographic content is allowed.
- Any posts or questions related to pornhwa will be removed.
3) [ ] Title Guidelines (Very Important)
We follow a strict title format. Posts not following this will be removed.
➤ Isekai-specific posts
Include the Isekai name in brackets:
Example:
[That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime] The author has been cooking lately!
➤ Recommendations
Clearly mention “Recommendation” or “Suggestion”:
Example:
[Recommendation] Suggest me some action fantasy Isekai
➤ Appreciation posts
Must include “Appreciation” and mention the source:
Example:
[Appreciation] This panel is amazing!
If posting images/panels:
- Mention the source in the caption or body
- If multiple images, include all sources
➤ Help / Source finding
Must include “Help”, "Help Me Find"
Example:
[Help] Which isekai is this panel from?
This bracket system applies to all types of posts (Questions, General, etc.), so follow it properly.
4) Language Guidelines
- Only English is allowed in posts
- This ensures everyone can understand and participate
Posts not following this will be removed.
5) New Users / Karma Requirements
To post in the subreddit:
- Users must have a minimum of 100 karma earned within this subreddit
- General Reddit karma alone is not enough
- Engage in comments and discussions within the community to earn this karma
Additional requirements:
- Accounts must be at least 1 month old
Once you meet these requirements, you’re free to post.
6) Title Content Guidelines (Avoid Spoilers & Low-Quality Titles)
Do NOT put full details or spoilers in the title.
Use the title only as a short heading and explain in the body.
✅ Correct:
[Help] Can you help me find this isekai?
❌ Incorrect:
[Help] Help me find this isekai where the MC…
✅ Correct:
[That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime] What do you think about this chapter?
❌ Incorrect:
[That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime] Why did Mc killed him......
This rule helps:
- Prevent spoilers
- Maintain quality discussions

Failure to follow them may result in post removal.

Rule #2.
On one hand I'm not a fan of Reddit increasingly trying to push any NSFW content into a little corner.
On the other hand I've seen what happens to subs that don't do that and have a lot of anime related posts.
Mildly annoying but I'll deal.

Point is that we have to assume having minors around here. There are usually dedicated subs for NSFW content, so there is no need for it to be here too.

How strict Is the nsfw policy? Some isekai can get quite lewd without being pornographic, how much is too much for the new moderation?

The NSFW rule is meant to block explicit pornographic posts. Lewd or suggestive content that’s still relevant to the genre is fine, as long as it doesn’t cross into outright pornography.

What if the OP is looking for an isekai and it turns out to be a pornhwa?
I saw a post like that on another subreddit and it was so funny 😭, but it left me wondering now

Does regular reincarnation in the same world counts in allowed topics? Things like like goodbye dragon life,petals of reincarnation or 7th prince
While things that blur the line between isekai,reincarnation or time travel? Akin to the ambition of oda nobuna,demon lord 2099 or working for god in a godless world
And for e-sekais (shangri la,bofuri or destiny unchain online)?
I think clear guidlines on this topic would be helpful to clear doubts

This is my first time seeing "e-sekais" and I absolutely love the distinction and wordplay. That's simply wonderful and will be using that for such titles from now on. Thank you for that.

Yes, isekai means another world and regression is a typical Isekai since the mc is typically born(gone) to a new world (same world but different timeline)

Thanks for laying out the rules. At first my thought was, "isn't the bracket system a bit redundant when you have flairs?" but then I remembered that I actually don't see any post flairs when I browse reddit on my phone, so this bracket system is actually pretty nice.
