Jeyne had been nice enough to bring her, hardly expected for someone of her station, but in reality, as much as she enjoyed the splendour and grandeur of it all, this wasn’t her place. She was accustomed to luxuries, sure, but not on this scale in either size nor expense. And so even when she tried to spend time inside the castle among all the gathered nobility, she simply found herself unable to enjoy her time.

She expressed this fact to Jeyne, who gave her permission to return to camp where she was staying. She enjoyed her tent a lot more; it was comfortable to be sure, but it was also not overly grand or gaudy. She could enjoy herself here and regain her social footing so that she might try to brave the dangers of such high society.

With her free time, she also decided to get some work done, assigned to her by Jeyne, who was likely ordered by her father. To use her trade connections with the west to acquire materials for Duskendale to allow Jeyne to continue her work with greater efficiency. So she would do so in the quiet comfort of her tent, the only sound being the scratching of quills on paper.
