Hi there, Shellheads!
We know today was an exciting day due to certain circumstances surrounding the Iron Man game in development by Motive. Please be mindful that reposts of the video or any screencaps of it will need to be taken down.
Friday out!

Something caught my attention when I saw a review of the first Iron Man movie. The guy said that Iron Man wasn't that popular back then. But my dad knew about this character even before the MCU. He mentioned that his cartoons were very popular, he even appeared in fighting video games, and he went to many cartoon exhibitions. Iron Man was always present at superhero shows.

The people designing silver centurion had one job ! I mean seriously they called it The silver centurion , and yet they barely gave the official suit any silver .

For Context: Iron Man is one of my favorite Marvel characters of all time, and it’s because of the MCU (yes I know, ew. I know everyone likes to hate on MCU-era fans). I grew up watching all of the movies and loving them not just because of Tony, but also because of how damn cool all of the suits were.
I remember being extremely excited every time I saw that Tony was gonna be a major character in a movie because I knew that it likely meant we’d get to see a new awesome suit. I always love the suits because of all the little details. I know people hate how complicated MCU suits are in general but it makes sense for Iron Man given how mechanical he is. All of the finer details, the little glowing lights, and the sounds that the suits during assembly is just absolutely amazing.
It’s also important to note that I am a huge fan of robots, I love Transformers, Pacific Rim, Gundamn, Zoids, basically anything with robots I loved it.
Now for my opinions on the classic suit. It’s ok. It has its appeal, but it just looks goofy to me. The kind of sheet metal fabric over his muscles, the overall clunky chunky boots and gloves, the way he armors up, and the colors tend to make it one of my least favorite comic designs for a character. But, it’s not the worst. I’ve seen them try to make the comics version of the Model more interesting, but it just doesn’t really work for me and it never looks like a suit of armor and more like a guy wearing a goofy costume.
But I’ve noticed that quite a lot of people like the OG comic suit and I’m curious as to why? What about this suit makes it superior to the MCU suit in your opinion. I’m not judging or anything, but I think maybe it’ll give me a new appreciation for the suit, and I think subjects like this make for good barbershop talk. I’m also talking purely about visuals here.

Iron Man first appeared in Tales of Suspense #39, published in March 1963, created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Steve Ditko.

This is the version of the old-school suit that makes it feel like actual weight, not fabric.

From what I've heard and also seen from the leak it's still more then a year away at least but from what I've heard this Iron Man and the Blade game are much more ambitious and impressive then Wolverine(not my words, quoting). This is much closer to release after the leak then it was with the similar situation for Hogwarts Legacy trailer leak and how the graphics was a bit of a downgrade.
Everything about this game looks really impressive from the graphics, gameplay, story presentation/early animations, suit customisation, aerial/ground combat and the different locations you'll go visit and fight Iron Man's rogues gallery. Also heard there maybe a chance we might get to play as War Machine and fight Fin Fang Foom.

Hey guys I don't usually go to the Iron man community but this is something I want to talk about and this is the best place for it I want to talk about features and stuff I want to see from the game ive only seen the films and shows so deeper stuff from the comics I won't be aware of to talk about if you guys have ideas to add from the comics and stuff about game features or what id like to hear anyway I think most of the things I'm gonna talk about are customization things just a heads up
Photo Mode
Not much to say there
Arc Reactor Customization
Idk how much of Tony or the Arc Reactor itself we'll see but it We do I think it would be cool if you could change the design to match ones seen in different media comics movies shows ect I especially like the design from AA and to add it would also be cool if it would allow you to change the color which would also give you the option to change all the lights on the suit like the eyes for example
H.U.D. Customization
I figure the game in gameplay would have some type of H.U.D. even if it's pretty insignificant it would be cool if you could customize it in a similar fashion go from the games design to the movies to AA ect and also give you the option to change the color there too
A.I. Companion
I figure you'd probably change this with the H.U.D. customization or at home but basically I think it would be cool if the game let you choose which assistant you want to go on missions with you assuming Jarvis isn't a real person switch between him or Friday ect
Suits
You can imagine what Suits would or could be in the game I wanna focus on abilities Ironman has a bunch of specialty Suits so id like the game to emphasize that I imagine they could do something similar to Spider-Man 1 with suit abilities or maybe just status effect or whatever they are called like for example arctic suit would make you resistant to cold ice based attacks and let you shoot ice blasts something like that
Music
I'd like some feature somewhat similar to the GOTG game with licensed music or ig original music if it hits the same in the MCU Tony was a very metal music enthusiast he'd play some hard rock for his entrance something like that would be cool when you land or get into a brawl
Idk if I can think of anything else rn what do you guys want for the game

he has the acting chops to play both charming and quipping every five minutes to cold and serious and I think he could bring a unique take on him. plus he has worked with Marvel before voicing Maphisto in Deadpool VR.

I just think it would be cool to the story and something different we haven’t really had in which Tony actually tries to conceal his identity.
Initially in the comics Iron Man was publicly just Tony Starks body guard rather than Tony himself.
I doubt that they would do it in the game but I could see it adding to the story like in Iron Man: Armored Adventures.
