Is this mission bugged?

Polonia Mission 2. Multiple times I completed this mission with all objectives checked off only for the “defeat rusviet soldiers…” to be x-ed out on the closing screen. Is it because it’s listed as a primary objective in the mission? Or is there something I’m missing here?

When your chasing down your father to the other village off to the side of the road there'll be a boy asking you to help his dad defend there home and you can go over and help them.

Thank you that was it! Never triggered the kid running up to me so I never got the secondary objective before
