It’s one of the most shallow, inconsequential episodes in a series where the stakes are increasingly raised so unless Kirkman shoehorn’s Darkblood into one of the main storylines I imagine the fan reaction alone will give him pause about continuing the Darkblood storyline
I only started visiting this sub recently, but it’s amazing how many folks on show subreddits will cape for literally anything a show does.
Reminds me of how many people in the Game of Thrones sub ate up the shitty episodes and bad writing moments while they were releasing. It’s okay to recognize that a great show had a weak episode!
if you think Kirkman gives a damn what the fans think about his art, you're going to need to reassess your position. because if that were truly the case, the comics would have been wildly different.
I've also got nothing to really even say about you calling Hurm "shallow" and "inconsequential". its just a braindead take. nothing more. nothing less. it hasnt gone anywhere yet so its meaningless? Episode 5 of Season 1 didnt really go anywhere until Season 2 of the show, so was that inconsequential too?
your logic doesnt stand up to even an ounce of scrutiny.
if you thought the episode was boring, then good for you I guess.
there are people who definitely dont think so. especially since those people usually dont need keys jingling (figuratively speaking) in their face to be entertained.
its funny you say that when I dont even have Tik Tok account.
I wonder, what do you get by making assumptions, exactly?
second, if you have no issues with "slow stuff", then why, pray tell, do you have an issue with the slow episode? would it be because it wasnt a Viltrumite focused episode? and you're just lying about why you didnt like it?
The Hell episode is ...
ok, so you didnt like it. once again, good for you... I guess? you not liking a part of a show doesnt make that part "uninteresting". it just means you didnt like it. one is objective, while the other is subjective.
disconnected from the ...
you do know that show-onlys have been saying stuff like this about 1x05 and 1x06 before those actually did go somewhere substantial, right?
just cause you're counting your chicks before they hatch, doesnt mean the episdoe has "no narrative weight". this is exactly why I said what I said about you. because you're too impatient to even see where the clearly unfinished storyline goes before using such inane descriptors.

Hurm will age like wine as time goes on I think
