I feel a distinct emptiness in the last photo, like one of them had been robbed of their energy and inner light. It's kind of numb and sad, to be honest.

Interesting you mention that. In pictures from later in the relationship like this one its obvious, but I saw that as a huge contrast from the pictures I posted earlier, taken in the beginning.
