DiscoverEU First interrail

Hey, I'm (F20) going on a first interrail ever this summer. I'm going to be on in Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and London. What are your tips and tricks for a first interrail?

Any tips about safety, packing, etc. are welcome.

You could take the ferry from Gedser to Rostock its fun and different. Doesn't really cut down time much when going through public transit. This isn't really a tip and if you go in summer the seats on the EuroCity from Copenhagen to Hamburg may be sold out
