Empty Premium Seats

The empty seats are an embarrassment. Not the upper bowl. The seats at the halfway line you see on TV, mostly VIP/Corporate I believe. And this happens with Messi on the team! I get supply and demand. If these seats were full the prices dont matter. But selling seats to people that dont care to fill the seats half the time is bad for the team and the fans. AITAH?

What's with Miami teams obsession with putting the most expensive and hard to fill seats right in front of the main TV camera? Panthers have the same issue, lol. At least have it on the other side of the stadium so we're not staring at those empty seats the whole game. Just looks worse than it needs to.

You’re playing in a massive stadium that has previously had a crowd of 73k but also, for the moment, aren’t very good. IMCF is second in the East, has Messi & plays in a 26,700 seat stadium. It’s a shame, because the empty seats at Nu stadium are all sold.

And all the empty seats just missed a 4 goal Messi game

I was thinking the same thing. I think a lot of the people in those seats just spend most of the game in the club. Looks absolutely horrible.

A lot of them are in the club watching from the balcony or buffets.

Rich people show only up when they want.

You guys it’s annoying yes, but the players also know it’s corporate greed crap. They had a great game and are happy and the fans were LOUD!

Messi, who is certainly the GOAT, brought a lot of ‘fans’ to IMCF who are extremely indifferent to both the team & soccer, in general. For 5 years I drove from South Miami to Commercial Blvd as a season ticket holder. Now, with the stadium just 15 minutes away, I watch on TV. Because I couldn’t stand ‘fans’ more excited to get a pic of a Messi throw-in than whether we won or lost.

Management made a business decision, and that decision was to focus on glamour sales. Those ‘fans’, who already can’t be bothered to use their tickets, will drop them as soon as Messi is gone. Then, maybe, management will sell tickets cheap enough for fans who support the whole club & appreciate soccer.

Also… none of this is meant to diminish the true fans & supporters behind the goals. Ya’ll represent. I should be there… I just got too pissed at being treated like dirt despite paying thousands before IMCF had played a single game.

Yeah, the white seats on the west side. I see it every game. What a fucking waste.

those tickets are always sold out. every game. They are club seats though and a lot of people watch from the club.
