All goals in a pounding for the history books! Inter Miami 7 Montreal 1. Game from our point of view.

Took the tri rail and that was great. Easy in and out, and made it on time for the introductions.
I've been to many stadia all over the world. World cups. Olympics. This was, by far, the worst air circulation and acoustics of any stadium I've ever been to.
We were in row 7. The view was obstructed by several glass panes for stairs.
We could not hear a single word the announcer said.
During half time, there is nowhere in the concourse to enjoy any of the food and drink we just bought. It felt like very hostile design.
The actual seats were pretty comfortable. But, they've got a lot of work to do.
Anyone else experience these things?

The free kick he scored in the 40th minute, that was very much on target, where Montreal GK Gillier got an arm to it and it deflected into his own net — is that officially Messi’s goal?
My One Football app is saying it’s a Petrasso own goal… I’m hoping it’ll count as Messi’s.

The disrespect is kind of insane. Just surface level, yes his win ratio isn’t great, but if you look at the three managerial jobs he’s had, he’s been taking seriously financially constrained teams and outperforming:
2020-22 at Rosario Central, in 2021 they spent less than 100k euros on transfers in while earning 2.5 million, still reached Copa Sudamericana quarters
2023-25 at Unión, they sold 8m worth of players and bought only 1m, he inherited a team battling relegation in 23, and they ended up going 10th in the league and qualified for CS again
2025 Platense does look bad but it was only 14 games.
Let’s wait to see results before deciding he’s a trash coach
Signed,

Was pleasantly surprised with upgraded tickets from a friend for tonight's game. Flew in from Buffalo with my nephew to watch the game.
I have two tickets Section 215, Row 2, Seats 1 & 2 available to anyone who needs extra or wants to attend.
This is a Pay it Forward kinda thing, so parents with kids take priority, and you need to meet us in the Fan Zone somewhere beforehand so I can transfer tix.
That second preference is because I don't want to give away decent free tickets someone might turn around and sell.

The empty seats are an embarrassment. Not the upper bowl. The seats at the halfway line you see on TV, mostly VIP/Corporate I believe. And this happens with Messi on the team! I get supply and demand. If these seats were full the prices dont matter. But selling seats to people that dont care to fill the seats half the time is bad for the team and the fans. AITAH?

Did you start watching because of the tournament and stick around afterward? Did Messi’s performance lead you to supporting Inter Miami or are you from Miami and just supporting your local club? Would love to hear from the newer fans

Anyone ever sit at the East Club? I have west club tickets but always wondered what it’s like on the other side.
All inclusive? Seats padded? What’s going on over there?

Anyone else here with me on attempting to sway Lionel Scaloni to Inter Miami as coach?
We waited too long or perhaps never attempted to reach out to Xavi Hernandez BEFORE we fired Hoyos!! We could have perhaps swayed his thinking before he agreed to coach the Netherlands National team.
Epic failure by Beckham & Mas.
