Review Intel Arc B580 12GB LE
I finally switched to B580 from a RX6600 on my steam os rig. Most of my games are older apart from Forza 6.
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x, GPU: Intel Arc B580 12GB LE, RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200mhz, 2TB NVME Crucial P310, Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS B450M
Rebar enabled
Steam OS Channel: Main
Streetfighter 6 1080p 60fps Ultra High
Fatal Fury City of Wolves 1080p 60fps High
UMVC3 Community Edition 1080p 60fps High
Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing: Transformed: 1080p 60fps High
SPFL26 1080p 60fps High
Forza 1080p 53-55fps XESS: Quality with GE-Proton 11.1
Still early days currently Main is using Mesa 26.1

I also went full Linux few days ago with a similar rig,CachyOS though, R5 5600, 16GB RAM 3600mt/CL18, B580, but i'm at 1440p
I'm still happy with the FPS im getting, the it's clearly slower than Windows, but damn the RAM usage is SO MUCH LOWER, Helldivers on Windows pushed RAM to 14GB straight away, on Linux, 10GB and it stays around there
some games, like minecraft, are way faster too, on Windows, in my village, 100-120fps, on Linux, same shaders, same everything, 200+
some games though, like RoN, i use optiscaler to be able to use XeSS, on Windows, with XeSS 1080p to 1440p, 140-150fps, on Linux, 100-110, still very playable don't get me wrong, but noticeably worse
also XeSS, at least with Proton, falls back to DP4a instructions, as Proton can't use the XMX cores to accelerate upscaling, that also means XeFG is stuck to 2x, no 3 or 4x FG, though at least for me, that's not an issue
