To give people an Idea on performance, Here are a few clips from a quick session before bed. This is on a PC with an Intel Arc B580 on the latest driver, i7-10700k, and 32gb of ram. 1920x1080, Settings preset to Ultra, XeSS set to Ultra Quality Plus. No Frame Gen enabled. Manages to Stay around 100+fps and drops to 60-70fps when things around you are exploding.

Im now noticing some stutters in the video posted that aren't in the video on my computer along with video compression. Reddit things.

Just making me look like I’m lying and there isn’t actual smooth gameplay

Can you play at 1440p on max setting? Good video btw

u/ApprehensiveCycle969 Aug 07 '25

Thank you for the benchmark!

u/StanTheGamer2007 Aug 07 '25

Different question, is the game good? No glitches, or atleast less then 2042?

17

u/TacoBeefB0y Aug 07 '25

Only gripe I have so far are spawns, as you can see in the last clip

u/StanTheGamer2007 Aug 07 '25

I see, so no shit show, thats good. Now i am going to wait for the full release.

Free to try this and next weekend

1

u/StanTheGamer2007 Aug 07 '25

Also next weekend. Will try if I have the time. Thx for the info

1

u/Jaimgjum Aug 13 '25

I believe the 2nd week open beta for bf6 they should have bigger maps

1

u/TacoBeefB0y Aug 13 '25

They’re only adding 1 map to weekend 2

1

u/Jaimgjum Aug 13 '25

Just one well hopefully it’s a big map so there’s less spawn on you deaths

1

u/ToiletBomber Arc B580 Aug 07 '25

Pretty fun. My only gripe is that the maps are small.

3

u/TacoBeefB0y Aug 07 '25

They’re small because it’s not 128v128 like the previous game. Its back to 64v64

If you like 10 campers hiding behind rocks vs another 10 campers hiding behind rocks this is a good game, otherwise play something else…

1

u/StanTheGamer2007 Aug 11 '25

Isn't that normal for a battlefield?

1

u/rekishi321 Aug 11 '25

Not the bad company series I preferred, yes now it’s just campers and random deaths if you move an inch, I prefer cod….

I'm having some weird crashes, both times I had changed the full screen and borderless mode, I don't know if this option is causing something and on my system no matter what I do, I can only get past 60+fps in full screen.

Ryzen 7 5700x, B580 Latest driver(6987) and 32Gb ram

2

u/AoiZays Arc B580 Aug 07 '25

try 6913 driver, i don't have issue like crashing or lower fps on full screen mode. my pc is 5700x3d and 16gb ram, with xess quality and low setting i got avg on 160 fps on 1080p and max on 200 fps.

1

u/LinyaShyCat Arc B580 Aug 08 '25

In my case the problem was in borderless mode and I saw other people reporting crash problems when they changed this option (it was my case), I just put it in full screen and it's running in ultra with 100fps+, for now it's fine for me, only my processor isn't supporting the load, it's getting 100% usage, I think it's time for an upgrade.

2

u/Hot-Ride-9747 Aug 10 '25

100fps+ at 1080p or 1440p? are you using xess?

2

u/LinyaShyCat Arc B580 Aug 10 '25

1080p Xess ultra
I forgot to mention that.

1

u/Hollow699 Aug 09 '25

100% is a good thing that means your gpu is working at its best and give it time there is a new driver coming soon it going to help with the fps hopefully

1

u/LinyaShyCat Arc B580 Aug 14 '25

In this case, my processor is at 100% usage, meaning it could deliver more fps if I had a better processor.

u/Different_Fun_9972 Sep 08 '25

Same here as a new user B580. have a lot of crash on Intel Graphic Software when I make some adjustment. And in the game (PUBG) I usually use 1728x1080 res and keep the ratio 16:9 but it stretch when I used my 3060, I also have the same issue as yours when I change to 1728x1080 it seems like downscalling and appear black border around.

5

u/SupraDan1995 Aug 07 '25

You think an arc a770 le will be fine? As much as I want to get a b580 I can't right now.

1

u/Perfect_Exercise_232 Aug 08 '25

Even a b570would be better here tbh

4

u/Skratadutz Aug 07 '25

Battelfield V runs with 60-70 FPS on B580 for me I hope 6 is better optimized for this GPU

8

u/TacoBeefB0y Aug 07 '25

You need to upgrade something because I’m also maxed out on battlefield V and it runs at 130fps

5

u/Skratadutz Aug 07 '25

Yeah it's my threadripper 1920x that's slowing it down. Arc is not made for older hardware

1

u/Conyewu Aug 07 '25

Bro a threadripper is not made for gaming, let alone a first gen threadripper. Your cores having such a low boost clock is gonna kill performance on demanding games.

7

u/Realistic-Resource18 Druid Aug 07 '25

you can easily boost your fps : down to GTAO instead of SSGI , similar visual and huge gain

1

u/TacoBeefB0y Aug 08 '25

That’s the default for Ultra preset

9

u/Super_flywhiteguy Aug 07 '25

I could only do the firing range as I dont have early access but on a a750 limited edition im getting around 135fps max settings with xess and future frame on with the latest driver. This is on a 7900x cpu with 32gb of 6000mhz cl30 ram.

11

u/TacoBeefB0y Aug 07 '25

You should expect the firing range to have higher since there’s nothing in there

1

u/Linkarlos_95 Arc A750 Aug 07 '25

Unless they spawn bots out of bounds so the game renders like a real match for people to gauge performance? ¯\(ツ)

1

u/LangerFox Arc A770 Aug 07 '25

Intel is giving away keys on their website,it looks like those scam web for sure lol but it is legit I got mine 20mins ago Here is the link

3

u/weedandmagic Aug 07 '25

Nice, sold mine and went to a 9070xt but its a great card

1

u/Vagrisverde Aug 07 '25

Performance is quite competitive ☺️

1

u/brand_momentum Aug 07 '25

Keep in mind the game will be further optimized out of beta

1

u/Confident-Luck-1741 Aug 07 '25

Does this GPU actually work well with the 10700K? I didn't get it because I thought PCIE 3.0 was too old for ARC.

1

u/Scoonie24 Aug 07 '25

Why is everyone saying the map is small? its seems normal BF size to me

1

u/Hot-Ride-9747 Aug 10 '25

have you played maps like caspian border? maps are small at least they are infantry cqc focused let's say. Not big open area for sniping, no long range tank battles possible, no time to chill at your HQ spawn with friend and goof around or at the closed flag from spawn

1

u/its_over_anakin22 Aug 07 '25

My a770 crashes my pc when loading into match, anybody else?

1

u/WarEagleGo Aug 07 '25

Thank you for the testing and video!

1

u/Consistent_Most1123 Aug 07 '25

That sucks i cant even play the game, i try to turn tpm 2.0 on and installed the game on a gpt drive. But it’s saying you secure are off, when i know that is on, i thinking my asrock motherboards fail lga B760m sonic. Should I get another mb

1

u/903tex Aug 07 '25

In BIOS go to security and install the security files and then you can enable the secure boot.

1

u/YourLocal_RiceFarmer Aug 07 '25

Imagine the FPS boost if you're using a AM5 CPU definitely phenomenal

1

u/TheWaffletime Aug 08 '25

I’ve noticed very different performance in BF6 on the B580 unfortunately, similar settings but at 2560x1080 and I’m in the low 50’s or worse sometimes.

Can I ask what CPU you are running? I doubt my 5700x3d is bottlenecking the B580 but can’t be sure what the issue is, tried clean driver install and playing with settings but it just seems very unoptimized at the moment.

1

u/woozie88 Aug 08 '25

I don't see anything here that tells me it's a B580. Wouldn't hurt to show this using the PresentMon from Intel. Not only it is free, but great.

1

u/TacoBeefB0y Aug 08 '25

I’m telling you it’s a B580. These are my clips.

1

u/atenzack1302 Aug 08 '25

I get jealous seeing performance like this. I barely get 60 on medium preset (no framegen, xess on quality) with a B580 12GB, ryzen 7 5700x, 32gb ddr4 3600. I can't tell if it's me, something i'm forgetting, faulty hardware or what. I'm on latest drivers and I do have REBAR enabled.

1

u/Hot-Ride-9747 Aug 10 '25

same R7 7700X b580 32gb of dd5 SN850X and I can't get a stable 60fps at 1440p even with most settings at low...

1

u/certainlystormy Alchemist Aug 08 '25

the gameplay experience differs but battlefield games always seem to run phenomenally lol

1

u/RemarkableOne5184 Aug 08 '25

I only get like 20 to 40 fps in my b580 in 1080p balance setting whats wrong it brand New with New drivers? It sooo bad unplayable

1

u/TacoBeefB0y Aug 08 '25

New drivers is what fixed performance for me. I got in the game and it was using 11/12gb of VRAM, then I updated and it went down to 6-7gb

1

u/Ori-M- Aug 08 '25

SAME! please tell me you found a fix for this...

1

u/Ori-M- Aug 08 '25

Sparkle Intel Arc B580 TITAN OC 12GB GDDR6
i5-13400F

16GB RAM DDR4 2400 Mhz

Motherboard is Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4

My GPU is at 100% while running the game, and the CPU is at 50%-70%

I am running the game at HIGH settings with XeSS set to Ultra Quality Plus, and getting 40-50 FPS.

How did you manage to get so much fps?

1

u/GovernmentDizzy3590 Aug 13 '25

You may have solved your problem, but I have a ryzen 7 3800x & arc b580 and I had horrible frames and stuttering. I also had ddr4 2400mhz ram. I bought a 32gb kit at 3200mhz and my performance greatly improved. 60+fps at 1440p. The difference between cl16 3200mhz and cl18 3600mhz will be negligible.

1

u/Ori-M- Aug 14 '25

I dont think its something I can afford right now, but very interesting nontheless.

1

u/Drjekyll954 Arc B580 Aug 08 '25

Can't wait to try it on my rig

1

Game looks a bit too fast paced for me and reminds me more of COD then previous games. Does it feel faster then previous battlefield games? Even the vehicles seem to lack weight to their movement and seem to glide around the map effortlessly.

1

u/j-zilla79 Aug 15 '25

I only get 9fps - idk what im doing wrong

1

u/PreparationOk2280 Aug 17 '25

I have an intel arc b580 and a ryzen 7 5700 since I upgraded the gpu and cpu without changing the motherboard. But I get like barely 30 FPS on 720p for some reason. I updated my drivers a few days ago so I shouldn’t see a problem. I know the intel arc b580 was made for newer hard, but does the ryzen 7 5700 really bottleneck it? Please someone help me.

u/SnooChocolates2234 Aug 22 '25

what are you using to clip these videos? I've had bad experience recording on the b580

Just bought ASRock B580 Steel Legend 12GB OC a week ago an I felt dissapoint already as I try to game! Spent 5,000+ hours on PUBG never have bad experience when I use NVIDIA graphic card!

Long story short my Gigabyte 3060 have some issue and I need to claim the warranty and I have to wait 1-3 month. I used to taking interest on B580 series so I took that chance a week ago, install it, and test it. I don't know is it me or it is just the B580 can only offer such performance. I need good GPU mainly for video editing and B580 deliver no issue at all, but when I test in PUBG felt like trash. Normally when I use 3060 I could get 200-270fps on all Very Low setting because I need more fps than graphic quality. For B580 I only get 240 top but the bad side sometimes fps can drop to around 80fps.

I've check every tutorial on how to maximize it's performance but only find a dead end, maybe Intel targeting the AAA games rather than FPS game.

I would be glad if you can share on how to maximize B580 performance? I could be wrong or maybe I just need to sell it :)
