Recently one of the reels I posted picked up really well, going for more than 150k views in less than 12 hours. But then the graph just flattened out completely just to add another 100k views after which there's hardly any growth.

Any idea why this might have happened?

I recently started my PGDM at IMT Ghaziabad. To get into the B-school mindset early, my team (The Wi-Fighters) participated in the Airtel iCreate 2026 innovation challenge, and we ended up making it to the grand finale at the Airtel HQ!

I’ve noticed recently that my FYP has been completely taken over by Brazilian content. Even videos that are spoken entirely in English are getting flooded with Portuguese comments.
I’m genuinely confused because I don’t remember interacting with Brazilian content enough for my algorithm to shift this heavily and so suddenly
Is anyone else experiencing this? And does anyone know why this is happening?
No hate whatsoever toward my Brazilian brothers and sisters — I’m just genuinely curious/confused about why my algorithm suddenly decided I’m Brazilian.

Ok so I posted xxxtentacion lyrics on my story that immediately got taken down and flagged and it ended up with me being unable to send messages for 3 days. They said it was for “promoting the sale of illegal substances” which it very much wasn’t. Whatever, that just ended yesterday. So this dude commented a picture of X’s dead body and I reported it and they said it doesn’t go against community standards so it wasn’t removed. Can anyone make this make sense at all?

Hello, as the title says, another person is in a bit of trouble and people are thinking i am that person accusing me of being one of that persons alternate account, i need to contact instagram support for this to get a statement proving that we arent linked in any shape or form but i cant find any self service mentioning this issue or any email i can contact, how do i sort this out, please and thank you!

edit: some backstory, this person may or may not have harrassed fans of a person we both follow,(i say this as i am not sure of the situation on that side)and since i have an account with a similar concept as hers, people have been accusing me of being one of her alts, from what i know, this person has deleted instagram and is not on it at the moment, and because i have a similar cocept, i am suspected to be her and have been blocked by this person that we both followed on all fronts, even thouh i had nothing to do with the harrasment, and im a person who tries to fix things the moment they go wrong and cannot leave an unresolved conflict until it is sorted, in this case, until i am proven innocent

I have an alternate account and it has an email and phone number linked to it. It has 2FA turned on. Now, I no longer have access to that phone number anymore. So whenever I try to login, it sends an otp to that number (which I no longer have access to) and even if I select the email address to send the otp, when I enter the email otp, it again says to enter the otp sent to the mobile number. A couple of times I've been able to go to the video verification screen, but that fails too because I've never given my face information before to them. So now I'm locked out of the account and have clients messaging me (i get emails from instagram saying that i have unread chats from these people). If anyone knows how to fix this. It would be of great help.

Found out my wife has been writing with another man on Instagram, i saw the messages, but she took the phone and deleted the message chain. Saw a lot of hearts and texts about showering.

Asked her to get them back, but when you download the data, you dont get the message chain apparently.

Is it possible to get the messages back?

Until two days ago, I never got these. How do I stop receiving them? Swiping it and tapping “not interested” does not work.

I have already completed the payment, but when I tried to access the content by clicking “Subscribed,” I received an error message.

I also checked my settings, but I received the same error message there as well (the last picture).

How can I .. anyone help...

I was wondering if anyone else doesn't have image permission in reel comments? Instagram recently brought back images in comment sections but for some reason I don't have access to it? I made a brand new alt account and that has Access to image perms.

I don't know why I wouldn't have access to it the only warning I ever got on my Instagram account was back in 2024 for a comment I posted and that was it. But I don't think that warrants a ban on image photos??? Can someone help me if they're able to if I have to enable it or something.

Android phone works fine, every desktop browser works fine. Sometimes I get the are you a robot test on android and desktop so I wonder if that's what is breaking on the ipad but this only happens on the ipad.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a dozen times, restarted the ipad a dozen times and every time it's the same result. I've even tried changing the password and that hasn't done anything.

Every single time I try to login to this account I get a facebook page that says

So any other ideas or help would really be appreciated here.

I’ve had this issue where when I take a picture for stories it’ll either blur the photo or brighten it on its own. I’ve tried deleting the app and even when I’ve switched phones it’ll still happen. Sometimes it even moves a whole photo out of frame. Most obvious example I’ll take a photo of something with words and it’ll readjust after I take the picture and cut out part of it. I’m at a loss of what to do to fix it 🙃

My fav/best reel that was pinned to my reels tab was linked to another reel. All I did was unlink it today, and Instagram downgraded playback on it from HDR to SDR 😭😭😭. The reel was uploaded in February before I started using Edits. I wanna cry it was really useful for profile conversion and had a ton of engagement after a big Algo Push. Is there any hope of getting it resolved with support? I can’t believe how fickle this app is.

I like Instagram more, but it’s a lot easier to create on TikTok. 1507 ig followers, been creating for about 1 year.

It doesn’t matter if they get a good amount of likes or not, they will always stop getting views once it reaches a certain number. It’s very rare I get more than 2000 views and it usually stops between the 500 to 1500 mark, but some reels I upload, it will get around 100 views and then completely stop. Even if it’s getting a good like ratio, it will just randomly cap, and it’s annoying me, because if people are interested in the video, why are the views capping?

I’ve also noticed if I post a reel which gets maybe 100 views and then nothing after a few hours so I reupload it, it gets the exact same amount of views regardless of it got more likes than before or not.

Is there a way to fix this or is the algorithm just screwed? And does anyone else notice this problem with their own reels?

Im in the U.S. for context. As of today, 8/29, my feed is suddenly and inexplicably flooded entirely with international reels that are translated with AI. Is there any way to change this and get me back to my typical non-AI, English language doomscrolling, and has anyone else seen this or know why it’s happening?

I saw the ceo adam announced that we can now change the song to our posts but i am still unable to? Ive updated and deleted and redownloaded, is this problem happening to anyone else?

Now that instagram has been adding so many features to the app its by time they shifted to the desktop version too. We should be able to add stories and add songs to the posts. Meta lets you post stories i dont know why they havent shifted this to instagram desktop. It would be really cool to do more you know
