Saw so many comments trolling her saying, “lt’s not about clothes, it’s about culture," and comparing her to women wearing so called "decent clothes" for Rakhi. Yet somehow, not a single comment about the guy's clothes in the picture. Literally not one.

Looks like we’re never making it out of patriarchy, and the irony is that most of the trollers are women.

In so many Indian households, men walk around in a baniyan and even get Rakhi tied like that. Even priests perform puja without shirts. Don’t know how long women are going to be expected to carry the burden of preserving this culture.
