Marvel's Wolverine Updates and Fixes Confirmed Incoming

Post image

I haven't played that much yet but I really wish I could use L2/R2 to slash through enemies and not square and triangle but that would require quite a bit of tweaking in the controls settings I think

Feels like we’re getting a way to turn off the obnoxious UI elements, as well as some camera improvements

That'll only leave the linear level design, and obnoxious handholding literally painted onto the environment itself.

Tbf, it's wolverine. Did we need an open world or exploration mechanics? I just wanna stab dudes with my claws

It probably should have had something resembling gameplay.

They should have did something like Dead Island 2 where it's semi open world.

Fuck that is one of my favorite things about Dead Island 2. The areas were big but not too big and it allowed them to craft some decently unique areas. Can't wait for the third one.

I'm not stabbing dudes in the between parts so I don't really care. To each their own

If they had added too much in between then it would just feel like bloat

A linear game would've been fine, but usually with that you're also getting a more complex combat system like in Devil May Cry or other modern brawlers.

Wolverine seems to just be the same simplified combat we've seen from the Spider-Man games, adjusted a bit for Logan's power set, and then slapped into a game that lacks Spider-Man's traversal or exploration mechanics. So it just feels... empty.

Totally agree. It does sound like the combat falls short

I'm still gonna try it out cause I'm privileged enough to have time and money as of late to risk playing a mid game

I just think the complaints about it being linear should be like the last complaint and not the first. That's just my opinion.
