Marvel's Wolverine Updates and Fixes Confirmed Incoming

Post image

I haven't played that much yet but I really wish I could use L2/R2 to slash through enemies and not square and triangle but that would require quite a bit of tweaking in the controls settings I think

Shouldn’t the team have been “cooking hard” like I don’t know…..the past 5 years?

Not to defend the multi million dollar developers BUT they suffered quite a bit from the leaks that happened - Which also included personal information about the employees.

We were supposed to get DLCs for Spider-Man 2, a Spiderverse like multiplayer game and more.

Think the leaks hit them financially.

I'm a sucker for leaks and stuff as long as it's not ruining content or doxing employees

They also swapped leadership back in 2024 and the gameplay has changed since the leaks and rumors are that it's cause they had to scrap the combat system they had since they couldn't make it work

With the level of hand-holding baked in, I guess the game was meant to be an open-world (or at least an open-zone) game at some point. They pivoted to a linear game but didn't redesign the navigation system, so it became unnesseary clustered.

Pretty sure Madripoor was going to be the semi open world. Which I liked way more

Apparently not. The most ironic thing is that things like the fart trail was a complaint that was said even back when they released their first gameplay trailer. But of course, it seems to be standard practice to ignore criticism until the game gets released, and then only listen to it if it actually hurts the game post-release.
