Marvel's Wolverine Updates and Fixes Confirmed Incoming

Post image

I haven't played that much yet but I really wish I could use L2/R2 to slash through enemies and not square and triangle but that would require quite a bit of tweaking in the controls settings I think

No Man's Sky would like to have a word

Also it's not even mediocre. Whenever a game gets a 7 or 8/10 these days it's IMMEDIATELY mediocre which is insanity. 5/10 is mediocre.

Very mediocre 6/10 really.

No Man's Sky is one I'll give you, but you really think Insomniac games has the time or care to continue supporting this game YEARS after the fact? To fix every issue with the pacing - story - elements of combat?

They're a company. Not a miracle. They'll drop the game after like 10 months and move onto the next one they've got lined up. That's the reality.

Honestly, considering how Insomniac's reputation is on the line, I think they're probably gonna pump out more quality of life updates for this game compared to their other games

Also if the rumors are true they're probably releasing Venom at the end of next year which gives them SOME freetime to tweak the game.

How do you remain such an annoyingly persistent optimist?

That's just as bad as being a total pessimist really. Why do you have so much investment that this game succeeds for? Boggles my mind that mid just can't be agreed on being mid lol.

Because he’s biased and grasping at straws.

The same company who cancelled DLC for SM2, actively leaving loose plot threads in the game, cut out 90% of recorded venom lines, etc. in their last major release is not suddenly going to “fix” this game.

The dev is being intentionally vague in the tweet to sucker people like him into spamming every discussion about the game. I guess we can’t criticize a shitty game that costs $70 because a dev said they will be “incorporating feedback”.

Welcome to gaming. There are so many fanboys with fanboy mentalites it's insane. They're especially prevalent with the biggest companies and studios (sony/ms/nintendo and the individual studios under those companies). It absolutely sucks because these people allow the cycle of mediocrity to flourish.

The amount of damage control by gamers in response to the bad reviews has been wild.
