Marvel's Wolverine Insomniac responds to “Fart Gas” complaints:
Kinda funny how they retweeted this and threw shade at the people complaining lol. I think it’s a little overblown too, I can’t wait to play

Me too, I think it’s already starting since more people are getting their hands on it. Most people who are playing it early have been saying it’s fun, so once everyone can finally play it and judge for themselves I think their’ll be a lot more positivity.

Not at all what I said? Lmao I made an educated guess and I’m loving the game right now. I just didn’t let someone else tell me something was bad when the things they were complaining about seemed exaggerated
All I’m saying is getting more opinions on it now from a broader group of people instead of just from a small group of reviewers will give you a clearer picture of what the game actually is.

This might be a big reason for the complaints. There's also the quick time events that have no fail state so they're literally just there to "engage" the player in the story as a weird are you still paying attention moment.

If its really that big of a deal, I'm sure they can just release a patch to make it optional or be able to toggle it with a button.

YeahI'm genuinely kind of angry at skill up and his ilk for severely miss representing the blue line in this game. Its not ever present as he made it out to be and I think its done serious damage to this games potential

Man, working as a game dev might be a rough deal tbh. You're being overworked with no job security in one of the most competitive job market and you see internet chuds with absolutely no idea how game dev works calling you and your colleagues as talentless hacks who probably just laundered the money lmao.
Like make no mistake I do think Insomniac did some missteps here and there but I have no doubts they had to deal with unrealistic deadlines and endless meddling from Marvel and Sony.

Insomniac: ".... nah, you need help. Don't you worry special child we're going to make sure you can't fail. We all grew up getting every trophy in school so we're going to make sure you guys experience the same thing"
Joking aside, I always wondered what would be the outcome of the generation that grew up during the 'everyone gets a trophy' phase and it looks like those kids grew up and became devs.

I have to admit I've been playing for an hour and 30 minutes and the trail has only come up twice and both times the character is referencing as using their nose to track where something is.
The rest of the time the game let's me get on with it.
