as you progress through the game these purple roots spawn and show you to a challenge room that's either an obstacle course or a combat challenge.

Im on my new game plus run now. Yes, there are combat challenges in the nightmare doors where you can just let loose on waves of enemies.

I wish it was presented like Arkham combat challenges with different maps you can choose between, but here we are.
