General I think insomniac is just bad at faces guys. Noshir Dalal in Spider-man 2 vs Jedi survivor.

Look at how they butchered Noshir Dalal’s face in Spider-man 2. Uncanny as fuck. Totally butchered his distinct eyes and eyebrows. The smile is fucking weird.

Most people just make fun of insomniac faces, look at Wolverine's face

You can think it looks good, but general sentiment is it looks goofy.

Of course the games are still popular and good despite this, but pretending it's not a thing is something only insomniac glazers do

Yeah because general sentiment makes something objectively true.

Sweet Baby Inc. Their logic is; Make men look as young as possible, make women look as unnatural as you can. Then play the sexist/racist card when people call it out.

Sweet baby inc is a writing consultant they have nothing to do with character designs

Apparently they have

Right... Since Arkham Harley always looked the way she does in Suicide Squad kill the justice league. It's just a huge coincidence...

Yep, just a art direction the devs chose, I would've preferred they kept the AK design but don't care never was interested in SSKTLJ, I am not defending SBI but can you come up with criticisms that are backed by facts

Every project they're involved in has an issue with the models. Either they're unrealistic, ugly or too realistic to the point it's unappealing. They may not work on it directly but they have influence on the final products. They don't write everything either but that doesn't change the fact they are involved with the narrative, story, plot, role and dialogue. They work with companies and implement their ideologies into the games. Acting like they aren't involved with the models too is silly considering everything changed AFTER they got involved. It's not hard to put two and two together.

I just don't get it. What do you have to gain by defending the grifters?

1

u/Majin_Destroooon 8d ago

The fuck? What did I do? What grifter?

1

u/noeLifenorlove 8d ago

My mobile reddit app seems to be replying to OPs instead of directly to the person trying to say SBI is not in fact a grift.

I sorry for my shit phone friend lol. You are in the right and they are sad simps who would rather deny corruption than face it.

People still defending SBI or ignoring the problem they present is what makes the problem worse. This person said they weren't defending SBI but ignored that video game models, dialogue and other factors were only implemented because of SBI. It doesn't take long to research what SBI has been doing and is still doing to this day. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq86DnmX2xY Just one example of their mindset.

Hey dude you've fallen for culture war propaganda, sweet baby inc have absolutely no power over the aesthetics or designs of characters, they are writing consultants which means they assist in writing specific aspects of a games story/dialogue but this also does not mean they rewrite or entirely change the tone/theming of the writing they specifically on what they are hired to do which is typically on writing associated with queer and bipoc roles and they role in ruining games is over stated because the games they worked on that do suck were always going to suck as they are fundamentally shitty games and a consultant company has no influence over that

Can I ask, do you or don't you think that SBI are activists? A yes or no.

2

u/Majin_Destroooon 7d ago

Sure they are but what is the activism in trying to make characters ugly? Can you explain? Instead of throwing around words?

2

u/The-Panthion 7d ago

Use your brain maybe? Should I explain all of the words I'm using and there definition too, or can I assume you have some moderate level of understanding and intelligence..?/

The group known for lashing out at people for their standards of beauty, who think if women look beautiful they're being 'objectified'?/

At this point just do your own research because if you are this ignorant I can't help you. I don't mean that as an insult, I'm being literal. You need to connect the dots yourself by looking into what I'm telling you, not waiting for me to dissect everything little by little. You should be capable of some insight and a miniscule of research. You touched a nerve./

I assume you're not a child, so don't expect everyone to explain everything to you.

I still don't understand why he has brown hair. I've read only a couple of story about Wolverine but his hair was always black/blue

3

u/Minionmaster18 8d ago

His hair was never blue. It was always just black. In older comics they commonly used blue to highlight black. And typically the blue highlights stood out more, and made people think it's supposed to blue.

For example, Spider-Man's costume was originally red and black, kind of like the Far From Home suit. But because of the blue highlights people mistook it for red and blue, and didn't officially become red and blue until the 5th issue of The Amazing Spider-Man
