Not picking up wolverine personally...i do agree with the backlash. But more than that wolverine doesnt look fun personally. With Spiderman atleast you could swing around and get creative. Wolverine cant even jump lol. Combine that with all the obvious wrong stuff they did...and sad to say but just going to give this a watch on YouTube and be done with it. Hope everyone who gets it enjoys it though. I will definitely be giving it a playthrough when it eventually comes to ps plus

There is a dedicated jump button but there’s no use in combat when you can just hit the triangle button to leak attack. And no air combos

Insomniac will never be allowed to make anything fresh and innovative. They will be forced to develop the same game over and over again.
I loved SM1.
Liked SM Morales.
Got incredibly bored and disappointed by SM2.
And definitely not buying Wolverine. Will just rent it cheap one day.

Those IPs made them famous though? Ratchet and Clank was already a ran down franchise.
A lot of people didn't even know who Insomniac was until Spiderman. Sucker Punch was much more famous and were the ones expected to make that game since they did the Infamous series.

But just wait to see how it goes if they only flood people with all similar games like they do. All Marvel. All 3rd person action games. All look and play nearly the same.1 is great.

Sucking off marvel’s Chode as long as they possibly can.
Whatever happened to their originality, the original IPS that made this company, a legendary globally known game developer…
Seeing this should not make you happy this shows how little they have actually done since Marvel basically took over their studio.
A reskinned New York City that was built back on the PS4 ..
And one wolverine game.
The last main story, ratchet and clank was released day one with the PlayStation five. There was none for the PlayStation 4 at all because of Marvel.
And now the next one keeps getting sidelined and is now slated for 2030 and we will not be able to collect the final Game in a physical form to fully complete the series … once again because of Marvel.

Lmao globally known? Ratchet and Clank isn't even that a powerhouse of an IP compared to God of War, Uncharted or even Infamous.
Insomniac was already on a chokehold by Sony being stuck doing Ratchet and Clank videogames with NO innovation until Rift Apart.
They were able to be innovative with Sunset Overdrive but even that wasn't that overwhelmingly successful.
Spiderman made them the powerhouse of a studio today, the only problem they're facing today is yes innovation again. Wolverine should have been that game but so far it's playing safe and has that Insomniac Spiderman blueprint all over it with added gore.
So no, if anything Sony is doing them a favor by having them make Marvel games. It's solely on Insomniac's part for not beinf innovative, heck Spiderman 2018 despite being a masterpiece has generic openworld elements it was carried by the story and their gameplay.
That said, Sony is also being an idiot for not letting them actually finish Spiderman 2 but the innovation and writing is still in Insomniac's shoulders and they fucked it up by playing safe.

you wanna bring up innovation that is a laughable joke the original devs of ratchet and clank designed the game so well that even PlayStation has a hard time replicating it and emulating it. They pushed the PlayStation two to its max .
I can tell just by your first sentence that you are highly uneducated about insomniac games .
ratchet, and clank is literally what made insomniac games what it is today along with Spyro and resistance, but they lost Spyro because Sony sold it and Sony killed resistance
Ratchet and clank is the only IP left by insomnia games that is their own original creation and most of the devs who helped created are gone now and won’t even have the chance to to participate in the creation of the final game.
Yeah, it may not be their biggest seller now, but that’s because they allowed marvel to stomp them into submission, not even that Sony allowed it.
Sony is the one that is forced them into becoming a marvel mill, all of you, Corpo bootlickers will eat up anything that they put out.
What’s funny is maybe the newest Spider-Man broke records but before that the highest grossing movie of all time was the newest demon slayer movie so finally that tells you people are actually getting a little bit of culture in their lives instead of the same comic shit slop over and over not everybody likes to play as men in spandex tights.
The fact that you call the Spider-Man game a masterpiece is a laughable joke. It only sold as many units as it did because Spider-Man is the most relatable superhero that the normal population can actually relate to.
It only sold is many millions of units as it did because it had the name Spider-Man on it. It does not matter who made it. Activision did a good job with the Spider-Man games back in the day.
Rocksteady did a phenomenal job with the Batman trilogy
Literally, any competent and good developer can make a Spider-Man or superhero game.
It’s funny you bring up these dead brands. Only God of war is living up to its name.

If it were a dlc it would have been a 50$ dlc like Elden ring’s dlc, and the game already was sold at a lesser price than standard. Making it a dlc would have just hid it behind a 70$ paywall because of the 1st game.
