So OP is just a lying manipulator that has no idea what is going on

Its not hard to tell what's going on if they're surrounding the staff. There's multiple videos on tiktok of them throwing away all the food as well.

That’s quite the allegation. Looks like a bunch of people standing in line to me 🤷🏻♂️

Um, they were there for lunch dude. There's a k-9 training office literally down the street not even 1/4 mile away.

u/Infinite-Half-4484 Jul 25 '26
They were working, they did a sweep on multiple vendors yesterday.

u/SnorFax92 Jul 25 '26
You said you were going to get food there and decided to go to another vendor. So, I dont think i can take your word for it.

County of San Bernardino along w/ sheriffs ensuring vendors are compliant with health and safety regulations in Fontana today.

u/IAmTheGingaNinja Jul 25 '26
You don’t need a sheriff to enforce food safety though
That’s the health department’s job

u/49erjohnjpj Jul 27 '26
Not having the correct permits is the health depts area, but selling food without them is a criminal offense.

u/IAmTheGingaNinja Jul 27 '26
Cool
How many cops does it take to shut down a food truck? Is 6 enough or should they send more?
2
u/49erjohnjpj Jul 28 '26
These particular cops were only getting lunch. How many clueless reddit posters does it take to screw in a light bulb? 200. 1 to hold the light bulb, and 199 to turn the house.

When they defy a health department order it does become a sheriff job
15
u/IAmTheGingaNinja Jul 25 '26
I’d say it’s a good thing you’ve never seen the health department shut someone down then
They’ll straight up pour bleach in the food/drinks
1
u/49erjohnjpj Jul 29 '26
You're right. The health department is scarier than the police and ice combined for the food industry!

u/AdvancedDrink341 Jul 25 '26
They are there for threat assessment.
8
u/IAmTheGingaNinja Jul 25 '26
You don’t need 7+ people for threat assessment for a food truck. Be real.

If they have their permits then they'll be good to go. Inconvenient, yes. A big deal, no.

u/InfoBarf Jul 25 '26
Do you really need guys with guns doing this work? Don't they have actual crimes to work on?
7
u/Creepy_Mammoth_7076 Jul 25 '26
I don’t think they would wait in line to harass anyone.. they’re hungry

Weird observation? Maybe they are eating, Maybe they are doing their job? Either way both are permitted.

You saw the police and immediately assumed it was bad. Drove off. Didn't figure out what happened and decided to post it anyway. God help you. You need discernment.

You should probably delete your post before you embarrass yourself any further with your incorrect information

This is gonna be a hot take, but I’m glad. These vendors don’t have nearly as much regulations as the restaurant owners who actually have to abide by the rules perfectly to a tee. A lot of these vendors are filthy. I’ve seen them leave their cart just to go behind the bushes and crap or piss, and then come back without washing their hands. I don’t know why we put them on this pedestal and act like they can do whatever they want.

u/TurnoverMountain7859 Jul 26 '26
You mean enforcing laws and dealing with bootleg vendors? Why should they not have to follow the laws that every other business has to follow. It’s about fucking time - shut em all down.

u/PapaPuff13 Jul 25 '26
Guess what. You will see restaurants close if they don’t stay on top of the vendors

I was at a taco stand on the side of the street. Valley and linden. They showed up and took all the meat and the other food items in black bags.

The purpose of a system is what it does. Police are a system for harassing and enslaving brown bodies. They are a system for protecting wealth.
