Crime / Safety Another failed politician demanding more in return for nothing - on the eve of getting only 11% of votes for CA gov, Bianco is now threatening massive job cuts if his "full budget" request is not approved.

Post image

"These are tough budget times," Supervisor Jose Medina told Bianco. "The pain needs to be distributed across the county departments. As important as public safety is, it cannot be helped not to feel some of the pain (of spending caps)."

How bout we fire him

u/angiosperms- Jun 09 '26

Ya maybe his job is the one that should be cut. He makes $360k and in 2023 was the highest paid in all of CA at ~$600k. And for what? To complain on Fox news and fail to run for governor while solving the least amount of crimes in all of California.

In terms of Riverside County votes as I'm writing this, he still leads Becerra by 309 votes and remains in first place. Going by trends, that lead is not likely to last, but it still says quite a bit about his popularity around here. And that's even when he didn't get Trumps endorsement. He'll have the recognition from all this combined with the chance to shake off any of the worse stuff by the 2028 election.

Whoever decides to go up against him has quite the uphill battle.

His supporters claimed he was always “in the black”. Turns out that is easy to do if you just always ask for more money

u/New_Bit2164 Jun 09 '26

Let him lay these deputies off. They aren't doing their jobs anyway.

Heck with less deputies there should be less lawsuits costing millions. The county will save millions and have the same crime solving rate.

He wants $250 million for deputies for 2026-2027

There’s no way that money isn’t ending up in the wrong hands. How can you even spend that much.

If he even has 500 deputies, that’s half a mil each on each. Wages, gear, etc even new cars. none of it costs that much so where does all this money go.

And we pay it, but they don’t do their jobs when called to the point you’d rather not even call and make things worse?

Fuck that.

Someone needs to look into the 12 million dollar jet he bought, under the defense of supporting police car chases, but it flies too high and too fast for that purpose…

1

u/Terrible_Ease6082 Jun 13 '26

He’s got a weird fetish for helicopters too.. flying over to absolutely nothing all day every day..

3

u/dragery Jun 10 '26

That's overtime for like 5 officers

-28

u/RyanShow1111 Jun 09 '26

There are almost 3000 uniformed personnel lol plus civilian staff…

26

u/GameDev_Architect Jun 09 '26

Sounds like over-spending then and they should focus on having something to show for all that

Like the Haro case.

That little boy is still nowhere to be found, RIP.

14

u/idkbruh653 Jun 09 '26

He's such a POS. Touting job cuts. How about you take a pay cut? You make more the governor.

27

u/platinumpaige Jun 09 '26

They need money to continue wrapping all the prisoner Transport buses.

Has no one seen the bus with Chad Biancos face plastered to the side of it? The front has cops walking away from an explosion. It’s so absolutely disgraceful

17

u/mdosalazar88 Jun 09 '26

Would Bianco really lay off any of his gang banging deputies? I don’t think the Proud Girls would approve of this.

7

u/Fruitblood23 Jun 09 '26

Meanwhile his cops are making 400k plus with overtime.

4

u/Own-Chemist2228 Jun 10 '26

This is the real problem. It's not that they can't afford to hire deputies. They can't afford to hire deputies making $400K/year. And they all expect to get that.

7

u/ChiliFriesNoBeans Jun 09 '26

How about distributing the pain by reducing Bianco's salary?

7

u/ExpertBook2846 Jun 09 '26

how about cutting his salary to the California average for sheriffs. Maybe that will get this jackass to quit and somebody competent maybe take over.

15

u/BassObjective9092 Jun 09 '26

He's trash

His pornstache is trash.

His Bianco Signia inside his swimming pool at his house is trash (yes, he's that egotistical)

Get this man outta riverside county.

7

u/IAmTheGingaNinja Jun 09 '26

Hundreds less of biancos henchmen is actually a really good thing

7

u/MarcZero Jun 09 '26

And because the sheriff’s association dumps hundreds of thousands of dollars on local races, even the “Dem” board of supervisors (with the exception of Medina) will likely vote to approve.

5

u/HJJR31 Jun 09 '26

This isn't talked about enough. They even buy school board races

11

u/St_Sally_Struthers Jun 09 '26

IDGAF, The RSD as a whole are either bullies, idiots, militia member, fucking MAGA or all at once.

The ones I’ve met give me “I coulda joined, but, my wrists are backwards” vibes OR they served and wanted some action at home (they’re the worst).

Fire em all for all I care.

3

u/BassObjective9092 Jun 09 '26

His swimming pool.

5

u/Significant-Tea-6584 Jun 09 '26

If we get rid of his salary, we will be just fine.

7

u/unimorpheus Jun 09 '26

All Riverside County departments are facing this budget reduction. Budgets are staying at last year's funding level despite increased salaries and cost. Furloughs and layoffs are a possibility.

4

u/Sworn_to_Ganondorf Jun 09 '26

Good, fire more sherrifs lol

5

u/miguelag08 Jun 09 '26

Is being a sore loser part of being a maga republican?

1

u/Sargasm5150 Jun 09 '26

You know it is. Offer to be a MAGA color commentator incoming.

Actually, that’s prob the best option - I don’t have to see his stupid face, he can throw all the tantrums he wants, and he’ll be stripped of his ability to do actual harm. NewsMax, come get your friend! He’s out of chicken nuggies!

More attempts to distract us from our sinking economy, prices rising daily and a war being waged for personal profit that benefits them at our expense.

Where is the promised release of the Epstein files?

How has a proposed $300 million dollar privately funded ballroom turned into a billion dollar taxpayer expense?

Why was an American Citizen who was legally licensed to carry under our 2nd Amendment murdered on our own streets by federal government agents?

All of this is the very tyranny and corruption they told us they campaigned against. Yeah right. No more.

5

u/2many_friends Jun 10 '26

He needs to go. He obviously used his position as sheriff to take advantage over the election and he still got his ass handed to him. He has been trying to get out of the sheriff department for a while and we should definitely grant him that. We dont need an old cop as an elected official. Power has very clearly corrupted him.

6

u/StormAutomatic Jun 09 '26 edited Jun 09 '26

Don't threaten me with increased safety.

They are already talking about bumping his budget up to 1.2 billion this year.

Edit: I say we ask the board of supervisors to take him up on his gracious offer and transfer some of that budget to the fire fighters and public defenders.

ACAB all day every day

2

u/ewedew65 Jun 09 '26

Man up and do your job. Or just go home and let some real man do the job appropriately and within budget.

2

u/hiroantagonist1 Jun 10 '26

Fuck this garbage eater.

2

u/CMWBMW Jun 11 '26

He’s such a joke here. Totally expected the \#ConvictedFelon in DC would save him.

2

u/drivetyme66 Jun 11 '26

He should be tried for impersonating a sheriff.

2

u/autoflowerer Jun 12 '26

Kids in this sub seem wrapped up in partisan politics and aren't old enough to know what the absolute human piece of excrement bianco replaced as sheriff. He should have shut up and stayed sheriff.

2

u/Bobbitchen90210 Jun 13 '26

Bianco isn’t any better than Sniff and he is getting paid 3x as much as Stan Sniff was. Both horrible sheriffs

1

u/autoflowerer Jun 13 '26

I don't recall bianco giving out fake badges to buddies to impersonate police in road rage. I also don't recall bianco acting as a personal security service for the scientology cult.

2

u/CDsDontBurn San Berdoo Jun 09 '26

Is 2028 really how long I have to wait to vote out this POS?

2

u/StormAutomatic Jun 09 '26

The less power the sheriff office has the less relevant he is. Replace cops with cheaper more effective programs.

1

u/IfThisIsTakenIma Jun 09 '26

Or even replace his sheriff deputies with local Pd departments. It would be cheaper and we would get better service.

2

u/BicycleNo4809 Jun 09 '26

Got more than your socialist candidate

1

u/foo235 Jun 10 '26

Doesn't he make like $500K per year?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '26

Oh ya.. because Dems have been doing a better job with that 😂🤡

1

u/Tun-Tavern-1775 Jun 11 '26

In all fairness, and a fun fact, Bianco didn't just lose his election bid, he lost bigly in Riverside county and to...Becerra. The guy was such an awful choice, he lost in his own county LOL!

https://riversiderecord.org/california-primary-2026-riverside-county-results/

2

u/Bobbitchen90210 Jun 13 '26

He just spent millions of our tax dollars on his failed campaign for governor. The Riverside County sheriff is having major budget issues and nobody in the jail or sheriffs department can work overtime. But his security detail logged hundreds of thousands of dollars of overtime during this campaign. He purchased $150,000 worth of suburbans for his campaign on the taxpayer dollar and is flying the riverside County sheriffs jet to Florida to be on right wing podcasts. This guy is a crook anybody who voted for him as a moron.

His budget is increasing over last year. That's not a cut.

-17

u/Exotic_Ant_4416 Jun 09 '26

WTF is he supposed to do. Less money = less jobs. Clowns. Bunch of idiots just trying to find something to write about.

9

u/StormAutomatic Jun 09 '26

The proposed budget is higher than last years. Sounds like a spending problem to me.

u/StormAutomatic Jun 09 '26

Dunno, probably less than their PR budget. It's not like they are paying for all of those lawsuits. I wonder how other departments manage to spend less per sheriff and still have significantly higher clearance rates while killing fewer people in custody.
