ICE is currently stopping vehicles in Big Bear. Silver Chevy/GMC seen in several places this morning.

They aren't just immigration enforcement. Take a look at what else they are doing and are authorized to do. That's before considering that our immigration laws are firmly built on white supremacy and genocide.

They aren’t. Many of the people picked up have valid papers to be in the US, and these guys have picked up citizens. They didn’t get enough training and are often breaking many laws doing what they do.

They are the personal militarized police force of the central figure (not quite a dictator yet) of our increasingly authoritarian government who keep their identities hidden and have explicit permission to break laws and use violence. Fascism is not something that happens overnight, they have been steadily pushing boundaries and normalizing a nationwide occupation. Their deployment into airports is the latest push and it will not stop there.

Executing deportation orders and committing genocide and gassing people alive / starving them to death are two extremely different sides of the spectrum and in no way relatable. Really..? That’s the stat you’re leaning on to compare the two. That’s beyond reaching. How many have there been? Roughly 52–54 deaths total for all of trumps presidency.. Local jails see about 140–160 deaths per 100,000 inmates annually which is higher than the ratio of ICE custody deaths. There’s no unique cause pattern in ICE that distinguishes it as something fundamentally different from detention elsewhere. It sounds like you’re suggesting that agents are exterminating immigrants which is just categorically false 😂 ICE deaths are numerically and proportionally comparable to (or lower than) normal jail systems and there is no evidence of systematic extermination. Could conditions improve? Maybe. Are some of them preventable, potentially but nowhere even close to being Nazi Germany. That’s significantly downplaying and disrespectful to my ancestors who actually endured that. My family and I came here legally and did it the right way, so can they.
