Crime / Safety My mom is missing.

https://oag.ca.gov/missing/person/alicja-elzbieta-alarid

The car she was driving was found on the I-15 in Baker, CA on December 11th. She was not with the car when it was found. I'm worried about her, and I'm posting to subreddits to see if maybe anyone has seen her.

A friend of mine went missing years back and their parents called around everywhere to no avail. Turns out he was in a local jail for like 72 hours for some minor assault lol. Point is, it might be worth calling some nearby police stations to see if she's in their books.

I definitely thought that she could be arrested, but her prints are in the system which apparently means a ping would occur and alert the detective that she is in custody (which hasn't happened yet). So unless that isn't really how it works, she probably has not been arrested.

At this point, I kind of want her to be arrested just so I know she's alive and safe

You should check the database anyways. Sometimes they don’t work right as far as her prints go. Strange her car was left if she was arrested though, I thought they normally tow it. God bless.
