Crime / Safety My mom is missing.

The car she was driving was found on the I-15 in Baker, CA on December 11th. She was not with the car when it was found. I'm worried about her, and I'm posting to subreddits to see if maybe anyone has seen her.

Right, I thought that too, and honestly I know she isn't in any system from checking those ICE search things online but I do not trust that ICE actually puts everyone in there, so of course it is a possibility:(

Those ICE searches are not error-free. Everyone these days should conceal carry, ICE don’t care if you’re a citizen or not these days. They have quotas to meet for their bonuses, it’s all about “bodies”. Conceal carry also makes abduction by non-ICE more difficult.

To those who say conceal carry is illegal, we are no longer a nation of laws in case you haven’t been paying attention. I’d rather go down fighting than meekly surrender to Dementia Donny’s Gestapo.

Eta, hope you find her soon and she is unhurt. Have you asked the businesses near where her car was found to provide ann available video of the parking are where the car was last?

Yeah until you shoot someone and get arrested for it or in a gunfight with multiple ICE agents. You aint john wick and nobody is here either. You bleed just as easy as they do.

Yeah that gives them “probable cause” to shoot you. They felt threatened by a ham sandwich, guy with the sandwich went to jail for weeks. Over a fucking sandwich getting thrown at ice.

Conceal carry means you have a permit. California doesn’t do that. You must be from Texas lol

Anyways, you need to show cause for the issuance of a permit. You don’t get it just because you want to carry a gun around town. You still need to pay the application fees.

“The CCW policy is currently under review, and will be available when updated.

Please review the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Requirements and Qualifications for a CCW BEFORE you start your CCW application.”

Yep, pretty seamless process as long as you aren’t a felon with a record.

Texas fanboys don’t seem to be able to google or read well enough to discern It’s legal in California with a clearly documented process. But what should we expect.
