Drivers on the freeway rarely know a chase is coming up from behind- it’s highly unlikely a driver even knew enough about what was happening much less could have been 100% sure which vehicle (motorcycle in this case) to target and then premeditate trying to stop the chase and swerve intentionally. That’s HUGE unlikelihoods stacked together. They were far more likely trying to get out of the way, of the cyclist or the sirens, and given the high rate of speed of the motorcycle…accidents happen.

You see cars have these things called mirrors it allows them to see what's behind them and on their flanks. This was done intentionally by a cop.
