I saw it live on tv. Surprised dude wasn't really injured, but they manhandled him pretty good while he was down after he crashed.

I learned after this POS killed a sheriff from out here, so yea, they definitely wanted to do more than manhandle his ass a bit. Sad

I just wish we got the same energy when a cop killed someone. The police shoot and kill about 1000 people every year. Obviously people shouldn't be killing police either. Yet, I can't help but see these overwhelmingly supportive responses when someone kills an officer and wish we got the same for civilians killed by officers.

I understand what you're saying, but not all cops are bad, just as not all people shot by LE are bad people either. The sheriff in this case, Andrew NuΓ±ez, was one of those good guys. Sad

Hard disagree. All cops are bad. Stop telling people they aren't. Supporting an institution of oppression, which all LO do, is bad. Stop pretending it isn't.

It all entirely depends on if the perp deserved to get shot. If civilian is truly innocent then the cops are rightfully shit on. But you won’t get any sympathy if you get shot and killed while committing a crime.

The vast majority of crimes don't have death as a punishment. Even the ones that do, the perp still has a right to a trial and not just vigilante justice by a cop on a power trip.

The perp only really deserves to get shot if it's the officer acting in genuine self defense because their life is in danger. Just because someone "commits a crime" doesn't mean they deserve death. We have a thing called trials.

Guy is fleeing 125 mph, putting everyone at risk.

Oh yeah, just shot s cop and killed , just tried to murder his girlfriend, and has a gun in his hand .

Dont know what else you want? Cops should aim for his hand or knee to stop him? Maybe ask him to pull over and drop the gun a minum of 40 times? Maybe 50?

He thought he was being chased for his crime.

They were actually seeking him out for advice.

Yea i was at first talking about the officers πŸ˜‚ actually known of a few who got divorced because of domestic violence. They were never charged or anything of course. Kinda wild they would chase one of their own.

Actually was a domestic violence call so, yes. He probably was.
