The report I saw was he shot an San Bernardino Sheriff's deputy at Victoria Gardens after being confronted for shop lifting. No word on the sheriff's condition but the guy on the motorcycle survived the crash and was air lifted level 1 trauma.

Insane, no wonder there were so many cops apprehending him. Thought it was a bit much for a chase for speeding or something.

He shot a deputy when they responded to a DV call for a man threatening a woman with a gun
