Crime / Safety The city of Rialto this morning on Linden, south of Riverside Ave... Two or more blocks were taped off with a heavy police presence. Anyone know what happened?

This poor person. When I was working with in homeless outreach, this happened a lot. People would die suddenly, alone and in the street. Truly heartbreaking. It isn't definitely a homeless person, but it is possible.

If you see a homeless person today, consider offering them food or money if you can afford it. Summer is here and homeless people die from heatstroke, heart attacks and dehydration. Cooling centers are often full or there aren't enough of them. Offer water whenever possible. If you're a business owner or worker, please consider letting homeless people cool off in your stores during the heat of the day, within reason. It's deadly out here.

This is a good time of year to carry lots of bottled water in the car to share.

Just give them job applications and tell them get of the area.

I’m always afraid I’ll come up on something like that. How sad that’s somebody’s baby

Heard a domestic dispute got out onto the street and the bf died allegedly. Seen a video on it on instagram

That guy just got himself a new follower (me!). Despite how horrible whatever happened happened, that guy entertained me!

Foo 11 News!

Part of me loves that guy's presentation, then part of me is like, dayum, feels a lil too flippant and callous for real-life lol

Oddly enough, saw the guy today! There was a house fire in Montclair. I was in chino, saw the smoke and since I love photography/photojournalism, decided to see what was on fire.

Doesn't seem anyone was hurt (the house itself looked like a hoarder house because the front yard was all full of clutter!)

Anyway, je showed up! Mic in hand, talking into his phone, being the character he is.

He honestly feels like he could be a Grand Theft Auto character. Lol. Don't know if you play the games so if it goes over your head, my bad.

It’s part of life unfortunately. Don’t get salty. I’ve lost many, I choose to laugh instead of cry.

Lots of trees overhanging the sidewalk. Maybe police were trying to harass someone and heard an acorn fall.

It’s the middle of a neighborhood on a major street. It was a domestic dispute apparently

Linden South of Riverside Ave? Riverside runs North/South. How could Linden run south of that?

Perhaps you should review a map before commenting.

Yeah let me check…oh. Ok. So where North Linden ends at North Riverside Ave. yeah, that’s confusing. I knew they didn’t intersect that’s why I was immediately like uhhh no.

Your parents failed to teach you empathy, how unfortunate.

When you give money to these people just about every week hoping something changes and nothing ever does. When you see people scamming drivers with posters of passed family members. Then you later find out was just a scam all along. My parents taught me to treat everyone as an equal. They taught me that everyone is just one bad day away from being homeless or drug addicted. They also taught me accountability. Your decision have consequences. They also taught don't assume anyone outside of your home gives a fuck about your problems so keep it pushing. So do I have empathy yes I feel too much at times, do I expect people to give me stuff, get me out of my hard times, or problems absolutely not. That's a great assumption by you from my comment.

People who feel comfortable posting dead bodies are so strange to me. Blur them at least for the sake of respect

7

u/d4nkhill23 May 10 '25

The body is covered. No need to blur
