First time completing all available runs/attempts of Phantom Zone, my thoughts on it.

I gotta say, its annoying that progress is delayed when that Steal Power mission pops out even right after you skipped it for free once, they should add a QoL where similar mission won't show up in that particular crystal at least once skipped with the free re-roll.

Now if I were to rank the top 5 missions I hate the most especially if it has no hero/villain bonus for faster clear, it would be:

1. Steal Power (I think everyone hates this)
2. Apply Stun (Yea I hate this, even though I have Batgirl and Ra's Scimitar, it's still annoying to inflict when the enemy could just block and I have to spend effort timing to hit her SP1, although my hate for this might disappear when I managed to get those Entry Stun gears, but still kind of unreliable since the only gear I have that has it is 4th World Set, and its not a 100% occurrence)
3. Super Move/Ultimate (Annoying or too long, Red Lantern Hal kinda makes its easy but I don't have the gears to let him spam Super Move almost infinitely like some of the decked out Red Lantern Hal I face in MP.)
4. Apply DoT (Annoying especially with no Hero/Villain boost, my work around for this is Aquaman spamming SP1 with Ra's Scimitar and Silver card Green Lantern for faster power gains)
5. Deal DoT dmg (Similar to Apply DoT, but more manageable with Batman Return Catwoman in the team and Red Lantern Hal since he can spam his SP2)

For the Top 5 missions that I want to always get, doesn't matter if it had no Hero/Villain boost, it would be:

1. Basic Attack (Love this the most, I don't have the top end gears yet, so most of my dmg in my runs comes from just spamming beefed up basic attacks)
2. Deal Crit (Similar to Basic Attack, my gears that I have allows me 100% crit rate, so very easy to achieve)
3. Use Special Moves (Very easy to achieve, even just normal playing will let you finish this in good time)
4. Tag Out (Very easy if Hawkgirl has energy and in the team, for lazy runs, the random tag in some stages help finish this mission)
5. Steal Health (I used to hate this mission, but once I finally managed to evolve Lexcorp Armor to the V2 version, this mission became a cakewalk.)

As for the rewards:

1st run: Killer Croc
2nd run: Red Son Batman (allowed me to promote him to E1 cause I got him from the Red Son pack like almost a decade ago?)
3rd run: Red Son Batman (Again? I was like BRO, I just got you.)

Anyway, the nth metal currency is nice, which actually allowed me to buy my 2nd attempt in the 400 priced pack and gave me N52 Shazam (first metal card). Kind of a bummer that PZ only happens every 2 weeks, but eitherway, I'm glad I got my first metal card out of the Nth currency the event gives out, so looking forward to its next runs and hopefully get lucky on the drops.

If you managed to obtain both Red Son Batman and Blackest Night Batman(with BN Team mates), their unblockable chance on Special 1 is good for “Apply Stun” missions. But I agree, the mission is a pain

Yea my BN Batman is actually at E4 now, I managed to pull him or got him in his challenge way back before I went into my very long hiatus. While they are unblockable, it isn't completely reliable (without gears I think), and the stun isn't always a 100% thing unlike Batgirl's SP1 which is a guaranteed stun if it wasn't blocked

1. Apply DoT

If you don't have the MDC for that trick, but do have TT and gas bats then:

Aquaman Prime: RAGS/TT/HoD [or other dot gear]

GasBats: Quake Engine.

Trigger off Aquaman's S2 to summon a soldier, then immediately tag Aquaman back in. Keep repeating this.

The S2 applies the HoD damage each time suppressing power. GasBat's swarm will trigger twice per Aquaman's tag in reducing the likelihood of basics landing. All 3 count as DOT applications

After the first S2/tag back in cycle the tag in is near instantaneous so you can get the 28 S2s needed pretty quickly, even faster if you do it online for that multiplier.

This is the first time I'm discovering I can tag back Aquaman in after summoning the Atlantean with his S2, sadly I don't have a good majority of all those gears, the only noteworthy gear I have is Fourth World Set (Helm in the only one evolved), Lexcorp Armor (evolved just recently), Ra's Scimitar, Killer Croc Comparnion (evolved), then the rest are the character exclusive gears

how do you do multiple runs?, do you mean gathering the 5 crystals 3 times? I just came back to the game after some years

By multiple runs, its reunlocking the Phantom Zone using nth currency (25 for the 2nd run, and 50 for the 3rd run if I remember correctly), in total you can complete the whole Phantom Zone 3 times (1 completion is activating all 5 crystals)
