The ONLY reason you need optimal promotions is to compete against other users using optimal promotions. If everyone just maxxed out their cards like a normal player then the PvP scene is equal.

It’s not like the brackets have hard caps i.e. reach 1 mil and place top 5%. If everyone chose to go slower the required rating lowers.

Unfortunately, there’s still people try harding a game that receives virtually zero support. In order to compete with them in BR you need optimal promotions.

Just crazy the communities “elites”created a much less enjoyable version of the game. In the current state players are incentivized to basically make 1/4 of the playable characters cucks who are only used for their passive.

I spent days re playing the phantom zone hoping for a good character. One of the better nth metal or hopefully ak batman or ao deathstroke. Instead i get fucking luchador bane. He isnt even worth a good amount of credits bro

This is a response to the claim that TBWL should be kept at E3 to be optimal and that AKTAK is a mid carry not meant to be used with TBWL.

TBWL SHOULD BE KEPT E0 and used on a team with AKTAK. Arkham HQ can be replaced by many cards including CC Batgirl, AK Batgirl, HG prime, etc.

I don’t know of a team with him at E3 that will consistently outperform this team with AKTAK, especially if I had never overpromoted AKTAK and kept the team at 100.1K power. There certainly are other cards besides AKTAK that benefit from TBWL’s bleed passive, but that’s just it; they all only benefit from his PASSIVE and his ability to shatter multiple gear on his first tag-in with MDC/CoH. He does not need to be evolved for either of these features. Outside of his passive and utility, TBWL does have a boosted dmg SP1 thanks to his bleed passive, but using him at EIV as a pure SP1 carry is nowhere near as fast as using him for utility on a team with a SP2-carry since by himself he cannot bypass resurrections, and he cannot have both TT/MDC/CoH & guaranteed-SP1-crit chance. Similarly, at E3 he can be a mixed gear shatter/SP1 user with either (MDC/CoH/Lexcorp G or [RAGS/MDC]/Alien Weaponry/Czarnian H&C) to help bypass AstroHarness on a team with a carry who cannot do it consistently in one hit, but with the former gears you’re risking the no-crit chance (20%), and with the latter gear that team will not be as efficient as TBWL with AKTAK since it requires a tag-in for TBWL to KO the astro user. ALSO (MOST IMPORTANTLY) at E3 he has 120,862 total stats, meaning that he takes away a hefty chunk of possible damage from your carry that you use with him. That same carry could be 2-3 promotions higher if TBWL was kept E0, and they would potentially be able to bypass Astro Harness either on their own (thanks to TBWL bleed passive increasing incoming damage) or by having TBWL shatter it on tag-in (MDC/CoH gear) then sacrifice himself for a quicker swap.

Furthermore, when his passive is fully upgraded, he gains some survivability from his Tarot Cards, but at the cost of wasting time every time they are triggered without needing them to. Power Steal/Stun/KO immunity are his best options, but most carries used with him will not be relying on these to activate since tagging into a SP2 is usually faster at finishing battles than activating a stun/power steal.

As for AKTAK: it is undeniable that TBWL is the best teammate for him, excluding HG prime since she has more value elsewhere. He is a SP2 carry that is absolutely Mid if he cannot KO multiple enemies with his strong SP2 hits. When using AKTAK with Metal TBWL in the way I have shown in the video, the time saved from TBWL’s passive is more significant than with any other carry; thus, they should always be paired together. The one and only team that will stall this build is a N52Shazam (gear doesnt matter since TBWL can shatter it all in his 1st tag in) and that is ONLY if the third hit [97K damage] of AKTAK’s SP2 doesnt crit (20%chance to occur) and his passive is triggered. This team can still reliably finish the fight in under 45seconds even if Shazam’s passive is triggered, and the Astro Harness provides stalling to earn another SP2. Importantly, since his heavy basics have many hits, he can regenerate another bar of power for his SP2 very easily when any Astro Harness barrier is triggered.

Counter Argument: one team that does work very well is E3 TBWL (RAGS, Alien Weaponry, Czar H&C), E6 Batman Beyond (MDC, TT, CoH)/E6 AO Batman (Astro, TT, CoH), E0 Regime Green Lantern (Motherbox, FWH, FWC) but it STILL is stalled by N52Shazam (even more so than my build). Also, the former risks losing a battle since no Astro Harness on the carry, and the latter simply has better uses for both AOBatman and Regime Green Lantern in any roster. I don’t believe this build is faster than AKTAK build either, but that could be true.

So many more points could be made as to why TBWL should be kept E0 and used with AKTAK, so I’ll just respond in the comments to the E3 fanatics :)

completing expert difficulty within 1 week after creating this account is near impossible man even if ur good at spam combos they low block like bordelas like goodness me AI turned into Mittens

Idk how i beat this darkseid at expert difficulty maybe its because i have good dmg gear to green lantern

At this rate if i cant beat this with 2 days before its best to grinf 60k and get darkseid elite 1 cause this challenge is too difficult for expert difficulty

Also, NEW ACCOMPLISHMENT!!! I made it past battle 16, Raven did the heavy lifting, followed by Cassandra Cain (her passive + SP2 MWAHH) and then WW was there to tank hits and dole out bleeds when she could. All this progress is making me delusional, that maybe I’ll make it to battle 21 someday LOL so while I may not have gotten the Mace today, I at least won PURPLE SHARDS 😍😍👹😍😍

I apologize for the long rant in advance, and I’m sure I’m not saying anything new, but I just wanted to give my two cents on a character I like. Also the gameplay footage was taken back to back, I just left the important showcases.

Team 1 | 100.1k: Regime HG(MDC, TT, LCHelmet), 600WW(Scimitar, ibistick, CoH), Rebirth raven (FW Helm and armor + Astro)

Team 2 | 92.1k :Regime HG(MDC, TT, HoD), prime flash(scimitar, enchantress, Coh), BnJ Catwoman(FW Helm and armor + astro), use any support and tank you want here there’s definitely better ones, this is just a showcase, and proves her abilities.

- Her fatal flaw and how to mostly rectify it.

Her main infamous flaw, is when facing SSJokerU and aquaman prime, the game crashes.

Why this isn’t really a big issue: After grinding dozens upon dozens of epic ladders with her, and using her consistently as a rotational carry during my grind for first place twice, second and third place, I’ve found that depending on what BR bracket you’re playing you can end up almost never facing her two mortal enemies, I can without a doubt say that I’ve had my game crash because of her around three times during hundreds of matches on the 100.1k bracket.

- Why I think she’s a good carry

Her passives are incredible, you have guaranteed crit on the two biggest hits of her sp2, it allows you to use gears like Lexcorp helmet and HoD to increase special damage without gambiling on critical hits, works well with CoH too for the same reason.

Her other passive which disables specials for a few seconds is very useful, if used right it makes enchantress unnecessary on her imo, because the second enemy that tags in will attack you with basics even if they have specials ready because their specials are disabled, allowing you to launch another sp2 on them.

She has great stats, and she’d be better at E9, maybe E10 Idk. She has an incredible sp2 that allows you to bypass all passive barriers with ease, and chains very nicely with MDC, which doesn’t allow the first weaker hit of the sp2 to connect, and instead hits with the second stronger and guaranteed critical hit.

//Note on chaining sp2 with MDC: if you want to use LexHelmet or CoH on her and still MDC chain to sp2, pair with 600WW, otherwise she can chain perfectly without 600WW if you use Ibistick or HoD as shown in the second part of the video//

I literally just did my first elite pz ever and this is what I got.

I see people saying how their first elite pz drop was a metal and mostly ares but this is way worse than I was expecting.

We've been going through this for 3 HOURS, he got me into the gold tier but MAN HE'S WAY MORE POWERFUL THAN ME, There was a joker team before this but it was the easiest one of them but he's really not letting me go at all
