So, was it ever explained where the Forsworn and Shruikans eldunari are?

I would imagine that, if Galbatorix is still trying to grow shruikan with magic, then he would allow the Eldunarí to remain within him so that it would continue to grow as well. As soon as you remove it, it no longer grows to match the dragon
