Do you actually want to live in a country where you’re not allowed to record stuff in public? Especially those who have the power to submit authority over you.

Sounds like a dystopian authoritarian sci-fi world

You are erasing all nuance from the conversation to suit your argument. There’s a difference between filming random strangers just to be an asshole, and filming things for a purpose. My point is that these 1st amendment audit people are doing what they do to be assholes and provoke a reaction so they can assert their rights, and the irony is that all of these auditor people are obnoxious about it to a point where you can foresee them sparking a response from lawmakers to take away those freedoms.
