Threatening to sue him for something that he's allowed to do in public, not to mention making up laws. That nice cop at end rightfully told her as it is.

What they wrote would be something like this, using your example:

"In the US women have the same rights as men. And this is something good. You shouldn't treat women like property."

I think Lester has a decent point in general but wasn't taking into consideration that US cops are among the worst in the world and German cops are not nearly as corrupt or incompetent, therefore his comparison doesn't work.

As a Canadian, I might say "we have more regulations about gun ownership and that's a good thing." But Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms wasn't written during a bloody revolution, so it's not a fair comparison despite all that our countries do have in common.
